January Test Drive

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
train station
He moves to stand beside Kristoph quietly, golden eyes not bothering to look over at the other man as he speaks.]
Yes, you're still sane and what you're seeing here is real.
no subject
But there can be no hallucination if he's sane; that's the contradiction that continues to confound him, and he wants very much to believe that he's sane.]
This simply isn't something that happens. People don't suddenly appear in train stations. It isn't logical or possible.
[So, it can't be real.]
no subject
[He's had issues with memory lapses himself, so such an explanation only seems natural to him. Though it doesn't explain the fact that there had to be some reason or force which made him board the train. Because otherwise, he's certain he would not have just left Tokyo while he still had work to do.]
no subject
Since he is the murderer. The "evil" man. He waves away this explanation.]
Unlikely. I don't forget.
[He remembers everything, even the pettiest grievance.]
No, until I receive a rational explanation, I won't believe this.
no subject
He finally turns look over at Kristoph, a friendly smile being offered even as he asks his question.]
And what would you consider rational?
no subject
I want an explanation that makes sense, evidence that satisfies me. I'm not a mere empiricist.
no subject
What if you were purposely knocked unconscious and placed on the train to be brought here? Wouldn't that explain your presence here instead of where you believe you should be? Considering the fact that I know I would not have come here now of all times on my own, willingly, I would say we have been kidnapped here.
no subject
Why would anyone knock me unconscious and put me on a train? For one thing, I was miles away from any train of this kind, and for another, there's no motive. No one could gain anything by doing such a thing.
no subject
[He's being completely sincere in those words, they don't know who is responsible for their being here. Or for that matter why they were chosen to be brought here in the first place. He has a feeling however that the lack of knowledge is just simply unacceptable to the man beside him and thus he is finding it rather hard, if not near impossible to adjust to the change in his situation.]
no subject
[Also, he believes people aren't generally abducted from prison, not outside crime fiction.]
Even to say that this is a dream would be a more likely explanation.
[And "dream" sounds better than "delusion". Everyone has dreams.]
A strange place, peopled with--strange characters. Typical of a dream.
no subject
Considering that he didn't know of any dreamers who could be so strong as to hold him against his will inside a dream, he's more inclined to believe that this is real and something is responsible for taking him from point A and dumping him into point B. Though the moment he learns how to return to where he should be, he'll be doing exactly that.]
If it is merely a dream. What would be the harm then in treating it as such until you wake or find the evidence you desire that it isn't? You're free to do whatever you choose aren't you?
no subject
[What he wants is to be rid of Phoenix Wright, to wipe him from the earth. That's a simple enough goal, isn't it? He doesn't want much. He has nothing left. He's lost his home, his career, the respect of his peers, his possessions, his dog...
He wasn't even allowed to keep his dog.
But aside from killing Phoenix Wright, he doesn't know what else to do. In this strange city. Though he would like to get out of the cold. But what else? He stares ahead, at a loss for a moment.]
no subject
It's progress of a sort. He turns his gaze from the blond to observe the station around them.]
I think I see something of a map ahead of us on the wall, if you're interested in finding somewhere to get out of this chill.
no subject
He looks down at himself. It's true, he isn't dressed for this cold. He's come here from a warm prison cell in Los Angeles. Fortunately, he doesn't have to wear the prison uniform, but his suit wasn't exactly made for the winter.
He supposes it won't hurt to do something, even if he doesn't believe in this place. He can't simply stand at the train station. It's not agreeing to believe in this place, it's simply practical. He nods.]
There is no point in staying here. I assume there's shelter offered somewhere, if this place has the semblance of a city.
