[ But just as she says it, she's quick to focus on the change of subject. ] You can sense that? [ Curiosity laces her tone. ] I suppose we could go... But I should come back here soon.

We share a ceiling. Not a room. [ She'd call him silly but that's hardly fitting. ] If you object to it, then surely you can find a... Harmless solution to the dilemma.

[Oliver turns a sharp eye to her.] As do I. And yes, I can. The women of my people...well, my mother's people - are known for having the gift of Sight. For a man to be born with it is rare, but I was strange enough as it was. And I inherited it from my mother. My caravan was known for their fortune telling and psychics, and their music.

[Smiling lightly, he steps towards the door, never stepping ahead of her or behind her. He peers outside, and looks mildly impressed.]

I've never seen a city like this...but for a city, it's oddly empty. [He glances back at her.] Why would you want to come back here?

That's very interesting. [ Lorelei means that, even if her tone could indicate some sort of absence, seeming disinterest. It's just the way she sounds - if she didn't care to know, surely she wouldn't have asked in the first place, nor would she have listened intently. ] Do you play an instrument?

[ Upon reaching the door she pauses, looks back and then, only then, looks towards the city. ] Hm... It is strange. And, ah... [ She bites her lip, looking back just one more time before taking a step towards the city streets. Perhaps it's best to move along. ] I am waiting for someone.

[James nodded and brought out another cup and saucer, setting them on the counter. Sadly, this trick wouldn't be as good. He had yet to perfect tea from his wand and would have to do it more old fashioned.

Muttering some words again, suddenly everything started to fly. The teabag went into the cup, the water followed from his wand, hot and already boiled just as milk poured from a jug, and then the sugar pot danced over and heaved two spoonfuls into the tea and stirred. James flicked his wand again and everything tidied up.]

Thank you. [He stirs the cup before taking it up to his lips for a taste.] Very good.

That's an interesting use for a wand. What you said, was it an enchantment, a spell?

[Gold furrows his eyebrows for a second, before relaxing into a small smile.] No. It's quite alright, my love. I am just fearing for you.

Perhaps I can stay over as well, if there is enough space. I would feel more comfortable if I can keep... an eye on him.

Thanks. I don't often use it for just tea or coffee but sometimes it's fun. Despite my situation, I still like to show off.

A mixture. Mainly one of my own making since this is more a Muggle act and not taught to young witches and wizards.

There are plenty of Servants that are jokes. They're usually the ones that belong to pathetic Masters who shouldn't have even bothered signing up.

[Seems the Masters got younger with every Grail War. Lancer's body was radiating killing intent again.]

Doesn't mean anything if they're not here. And if they're here...do they know that their Master is gonna slowly kill himself with junk food?

[Shinji shrinks back a little, but he's determined to call what he is sure is a bluff. He juts his chin out defiantly.]

Who do you think you're trying to scare? Our Wars have nothing to do with each other!

[He doesn't say anything about whether or not Rider is around... Mostly because he's pretty sure she wouldn't care what he ate even if she was. The question is pointless to reply to.]

We're both fighting for the Grail.

[He's not sure what will happen if enough Servants show up, or if some sort of Grail appears.]

Just not now.

[And the killing intent goes down.]

[Shinji rolls his eyes even as he visibly relaxes again.]

I don't care about the prize. I just want the title.

[What a piece of work this kid is.]

[Despite finding the child bratty as all hell, Lancer can actually understand his motivation.]

[ Belle just so happens to be on her way back to the library when someone approaches her. She turns to look at the newcomer. ]

Well, there-- there isn't one. [ She offers a small, sheepish smile. ] Are you new here? If there's anything I can help you with...

Well, it's not everyone's cup of tea, exploring, but it's in my blood. [Oliver smiles as he steps out into the street, and extends a hand cordially to her.]

I play violin - my father was known for his work. Doesn't look like it made it with me here, though. Pity! But if you're waiting for someone...how do you know they'll arrive at all?

[Oliver looks a bit apologetic.] I'm not trying to discourage you, but we arrived here by change and a healthy dose of magic, I'm guessing.

Good, I'm glad to hear. [He leans over - remembering when she is from as he does so - and kisses her just at the upturned corner of her lips.]
