[The video feed starts with a man sitting on the bench close to the train entrance. He crosses his legs, stretching his arms along the bench with a cocky smile across his face.]

So who was it this time? How many curses does one must bear until they get tired of it? Can't a father for once have the pleasure to stay with his daughter for at least 5 minutes after 28 years? No, don't answer that. I know already know the answer.

I'm admired at the old-fashioned entry in this place. It has its own charm, and kudos for having a clock tower bigger than the one in Storybrooke. Not like I walked much outside, but I certainly have a slight idea of my surroundings, and I'm quite disappointed at the originality of this place so far.

So what exactly is going on here? I'm going to guess there's no portal back home because I don't recall something as lame as a telescope hitting against the back of my head to try to make me faint after calling me insane. And as a matter of fact, that actually happened and, hint: it was lame and a little sad. Yes, exactly. It was sad how the sheriff tried to be strong enough to knock me down. I guess she's not blonde only to show up.

But enough with the endless rambling. May you make the favor of filling me in of where I am?

Storybrooke..?

[Alice looks up from her book, blinking towards the watch and catching half of what's being said.]

You're in Ruby City- it isn't on Earth. [Book temporarily forgotten, Alice collects the watch, looking at the screen.] Wait- a telescope hit your head? You're talking quite a lot, you know!

My forgiveness. I like to give a good first impression in my intros. I know some people who seem to enjoy them.

[He chuckles, curiously getting closer after noticing it was a small girl he was talking to.]

But yes, I suppose you are correct, young one. May I ask who might you be and what do I need to be aware of when walking on these streets?

Yes, well.. I suppose that makes sense.

[Alice smiles] They're very normal streets- but there are some monsters who are out. So it's not very safe if you can't fight. I'm Alice Liddell. Who are you?

_{[Grace has no idea where they are either. If she knew, of course she would tell him. But she hasn't been here long enough to figure anything out, much less the intricate workings of the communicator in her pocket. She just thought it was a watch, honestly. But then she hears his voice.]}

Papa?

_{[Instinct has her looking around. Seeing no one but continuing to hear his voice, it doesn't take her long to find the communicator in her pocket. Although she's wide-eyed, any worries she has disappear.]}

Papa! Where are you?

[His smile vanishes soon after listening to her voice. He was maybe having a little too fun to not have noticed it at first, but now with her face on the screen, a worried look is more than notable in him.]

Grace? [He gets up, picking the watch. He was so happy she was there and remembered him. But at the same time he was worried she could be in danger in whatever that place was.]

I'm in the train station. Where are you?

_{[She didn't have these worries- maybe it was foolish, but despite everything she still believed there was nothing to fear. Her Papa was all she ever needed anymore and she had complete faith that he would make sure she stayed safe.]}

I'm by a clock tower. I remember how to get to the train station, though. I'll come to you.

Welcome to Ruby City, Jefferson.

[He'd recognize that voice anywhere, wouldn't he?]

At least your unfortunate encounter with the telescope has not impaired your speech. [Like she has any room to talk when it came to long speeches, really.]

You better attempt to make yourself comfortable, because as you already guessed, there is no way out of here.

I believe some of our residents have mentioned Storybrooke before. [ She's certain that was the name one Mr. Gold mentioned once. ] However I'm afraid your presence here isn't the result of being bludgeoned with anything such as a telescope - this is Ruby City. It is a world of its own. I'm afraid you may have to stay here for quite a while; say, an indeterminate time.

[ Could it be? More people from their world? Well... Not that she had enough time to explore it.

But upon further inspection: ]

Wait- I remember you. You're the man who saved me at the hospital, aren't you? Jefferson.
