Um... [There is a very timid pony poking her head out of the train. She's making no move to actually get out of the cab she's in quite yet.]

H-hello? Is anypony out there? [Squeak.]

[Why does this place have to be so spooky? Her ears fold back in a submissive sort of way as she finally raises a hoof to step onto the platform.

And then the train horn blows. Suddenly Fluttershy is reduced to a pink and yellow blur of motion as she half scrambles half flies out of the compartment and smack dab into anyone waiting on the other side of the train station platform.]

[Oh dear...it's a good thing that you've got such a kind and caring draconequus to help you out, darling~ He'd have caught you if not for the fact that you actually surprised him though.

He turns from the neck up, raising one bushy eyebrow.]

As your friend, Fluttershy, I feel compelled to tell you that was hardly graceful, and also...you're on my wings and that you should get off.

[It's progress. He could have done a lot worse, really!]

[Oh that's... a much softer landing than she had expected--]

D-discord! [pause.] What? Your-- oh no! [She half scrambles, half rolls off of her new bestest friend. Her concern for discord apparently outweighs her fear!]

I am so, so, so sorry. That was terribly clumsy of me. [She steps forward, examining his wings before fluttering up just a foot or so off of the ground.] Are they alright? I know just the fix if they aren't!

It's quite alright, really. No harm done! [he flaps both mismatched wings and gives a smile and a nod.] There, see~? [Oh, one of these days he'll pull of sounding sincere--...nahh, he prefers the flippant tone.]

Though if you really want to be helpful, you might tell me where we are? I've been around, and I've gotta say I've never seen anyplace like this.

[He stands upright, giving the train station a cursory look. Why, it looks downright abandoned here, to be honest, and not nearly as bright as any place in Equestria he's ever seen...]

Oh good, I'm glad! I would have felt just terrible if I had hurt you. [but as for the subject at hand, Fluttershy grimaces and swallows thickly.]

I don't think we're IN Equestria anymore... [the thought is terrifying.]

[Yes he knooooows you would have felt terrible honey, but that pales in utter comparison to the fact that you may just be right!]

Hmm...

[There's a brief flash, and he vanishes, only to reappear by the doorway out of the station, floating with a bright smirk on his face as he peers back at Fluttershy.]

Well! I'm hardly going to waste time here when there's a new place to explore! You're more than welcome to join, unless you'd rather stay here by yourself! Of course, it's probably better to stick together until we've got a hold on the situation, wouldn't you say?

[Come on, he wants to explore the possibilities of instilling chaos upon this unsuspecting land!]

[Applejack had just been standing there, staring at her surroundings and trying to figure out where the hay she was... When her thoughts were rather rudely interrupted.]

What the-! [She looked at the yellow and pink thing that had collided with her.] Fluttershy! [Carefully, she helped her friend back up.] You're here too?

[She's just a little reluctant to be detangled from her fearful, quivering ball of pony but...]

Applejack! Oh goodness I'm so glad you're here! Well, no not, HERE really but[whimper] I'm glad I'm not alone. [She lowers her head, and whispers.] Where...ARE we?

I dunno... But something tells me we're not in Equestria anymore...

[Just looking at the closest buildings, she couldn't image the kind of giant creatures that might live here.]

[You might not have noticed when it was happening but Fluttershy is now currently cowering underneath you Applejack, in the space between your front and back hooves to be exact.

She lifts one hoof from covering her face to peer over at the now empty train tracks]

S-should we wait for the train to come back...?

[It was a little hard to not notice that. But Applejack will let her stay there... For now.]

We probably shouldn't wait out here. Who knows who else could be here? [Of course, she's thinking about Discord. Because this seems like something he'd do.]

[Ahiru had been aimlessly wandering the train station for a good few minutes, trying to figure out her surroundings. Gosh this place was creepy! Suddenly, she found herself run over by a yellow and pink blur, and crashed into the ground.]

Quack!

[Suddenly she's turned into a duck, buried underneath a pile of clothing. This is bad, she needs to find some water and soon!]
