[The man gazing down at the watch in his hand looks rather surprised, but he's smiling. That's not to say that he isn't upset and confused, but he smiles anyway.]

No, this clearly isn't the embassy. But what a clever piece of craftsmanship. I wonder if... [Whatever he was wondering, he trails off, blinks.] Hello? Can anyone tell me what nation this is?

[He clears his throat, still smiling.]

Ahem. I am Colias Palaeno, Cohdopian Ambassador to the United States, and I would appreciate your assistance.

[Cohdopian Ambassador? I feel like I heard about something relating to that country in the news recently. I can't quite remember the details though.]

Ah, hello Ambassador. I'm afraid you're nowhere near the United States. Or anyplace anybody knows of on Earth, for that matter.

Not on Earth?

[This comes as quite a shock, and Colias throws up his hands, nearly losing his pocket watch in the process. A moment later, however, he sobers up and composes himself, holding the watch steadily in front of himself.]

But how is that possible? What is this place? Is there a tourism board? Or at least a visitor's center?

I wish. Aside from the fact the place is called Ruby City, and the fact nobody can leave at all, they seem to deliberately provide as little information as possible. And no, I don't know how they did it.

But that's... [It sounds impossible.]

A city with no visitor's center? [Shocking.] Who's the ruler here? Are there any authorities at all? Surely there's someone we can lodge a complaint with. This could be an international incident. Or interplanetary!

The only guys you could lodge a complaint to probably could care less if you live or die. This place is sort of disconnected from pretty much everywhere else ever.

[I feel like I'm kicking a puppy. A diplomatic puppy.]

Ah, so this is an isolationist dictatorship? [At this, Colias looks even more worried.] I suppose my diplomatic immunity won't be in effect, especially if we're not in the States. So this is a hostage situation? [He's never had to deal with a hostage situation before. Smugglers, yes. But this is entirely different. Still, as a diplomat, he should be able to deal with this. He'll do his best!] Have they made any demands?

Surely they must have some dealings with other nations. [No nation can be cut off completely, can it? It just doesn't sound right.]

[Well, she's never heard of this Cohdopia before, but he seemed like a pleasant enough man, if not hapless, and vaguely reminiscent of some of the men she's worked with.]

Good evening Ambassador. I'm afraid you are far from your home, and have reached the confines of Ruby City.

[ambassadorable]

Good evening, Ms....? [He trails off so she might introduce herself, if she so desires.]

Ruby City? What country is that in? You'll forgive me if I haven't heard of it. I'm quite the student of geography, but the name rings no bells.

But I'm not so far from home. Wherever the ambassador is, there's a little of Cohdopia there, too. [He smiles.]

Sir Integra Hellsing, if you do not mind. [She corrects politely.]

It may sound... strange, however this place does not seem to be anywhere known on earth. We've been kidnapped from our homes, for whatever deranged plan conceived by our captors.

[ambassadorable]

Oh, Sir Hellsing, of course! [He nods and says this as if he should have known it somehow already.] Not at all. It's an honor and a pleasure.

Nowhere on Earth? [He takes a moment to let this sink in.] How is that possible? I hope these plans aren't too deranged. I don't like the sound of that. [He's had enough of unpleasant plans.]

I really must get back. I love travel, but there's so much to do at the embassy since the reunification. This might sound like a foolish question, but is there any way to return home?
