TEST-DRIVE MEME

Maybe you've considered appping a new character but you're not sure how well they would adjust to the in-game scenario? Well, here's a chance to give it a try!

• Post with a character journal you'd like to voicetest or you've considered apping to Ruby City. Feel free to play them as newcomers or as if they've been here for a while - the setting is your own choice.

•Respond to other threads with new characters or with characters who are already in the game.

• Explore different interactions, find castmates, develop possible CR - anything you want, as long as you have fun!

[Ever since his arrival at this city Sherlock tended to wander, the place fascinated him and he had that nagging problem of needing to know every small detail about the place. Foreign places hardly stay foreign after a week or two with his mind. Ruby City, however, persisted! It was quite the challenge that he enjoyed!

He was on one such trek this fine afternoon, hands in the pockets of his jacket as he strolled through the city, taking in buildings that were starting to look familiar to him, recognizing every fine detail--

What on earth was that. Too many inconsistencies hit him at once and he couldn't help but stare at the... creature? It was saying something he barely registered. He opens his mouth to reply, stops. ...Pauses. Then shakes his head, trying again.]

I beg your pardon?

[If you think he looks creepy, well he's got his own opinion on you. Why, you're the strangest pony he's ever seen!]

I'm afraid I must beg yours!

[He glides closer, both mismatched eyes focused on this new person.]

I've never seen anything like you before! Walking on two legs and hardly any fur on you! Where's your tail even?

[He circles around Sherlock, but his body is so long and serpentine that he very nearly traps the man, though certainly with enough room to move.]

Come on now, I'm dying to know!
