[ Well hello there. Ragnar's surprised at the least at the man's ability to understand him, but turns towards him, mouth turned up in a grin, expression somewhat curious.]

[He spread his hands out in front of him, either to show he was unarmed or perhaps to show he shared the same problem. Either way he heaves a calculated sigh and shakes his head.]

I'm afraid our problems are one and the same, stranger. I have been taken from my home land, such as you. Brought here by that machine. Tearing up it's path, however, may prove to be a... grave mistake, if you understand me- what brought us here may be able to take us back, you see?

[ Lucky for you, Petyr, Ragnar is not oh, Rollo. He drops from the train tracks and walks up to him, regarding his gaze. He doesn't appear to be a threat...but he doesn't appear to have any treasure on him, either.

Regrettably I am at a loss. I consider myself quite knowledgeable concerning where I come from, but according to the few people I've spoken to... this is a land unlike mine... or yours. Whether west, east, north or south... it does not matter.
