[She stretches and reads the nearest poster at the station. To anyone, she'd look like a run of the mill perky Goth. But the ankh necklace and the eye makeup might hint at something else. Maybe she looks familiar, maybe she looks ordinary. Either way, she's fresh off the train and off to meet people. Again.]

[Haru had been on her way home and only taken a short peek at the station out of habit. No train, as usual, but... There's someone! A new arrival? She decides to take a closer look, trying to make up her mind on whether it would be a good idea to chat the stranger up.

As she steps closer, she can't spot anything out of the ordinary about the girl (aside from the clothes and make-up, of course) - which might be because Haru's only special talent is talking to cats.]

Um, hello! Did you come with the train?

[Death blinks and looks at Haru in slight surprise. Welp. Most people aren't able to see her until it's their time to go. Death rolls with it, and smiles.]

Hello! Yeah, sure did-- How about you?

[Maybe it can be blamed on Haru's last memory from home being her standing on a chimney in the middle of nowhere, with no way but... falling down? Or maybe it's magic. Let's blame magic.]

I have been here for a while. [She smiles and bows.] I am Haru. Welcome to Ruby City, where you are kind of stuck now.

[Death watches her bow.] Yeah, that's what the poster implied.. Haru?

[She studies her face for a long moment before breaking into a grin.] Look at you! Oh wow.. [Yeah it never gets old re-meeting someone. Death straightens up and offers her a hand.] Nice to meet you again. I'm Death.
