apologise forever for everything that happens when Kariya is on screen during fate/zero I am 100% sorry... also you should read the novels once you're done with the anime series because the anime is wonderful and I love it to bits but it kind of drops the ball with a lot of things to do with team Berserker imho cries...

me, snow, and a friend have been watching it on livestream the past two nights and basically all I do when Kariya is on screen is make pitiful noises his poor sad life and the other day I was like NO WONDER HE'S NICE TO KATHERINE HE'S SUCH A GOOD PERSON WHY DOES HIS LIFE SUCK SO HARD I'm honestly interested? But Fate/Stay Night drops the ball with a lot of the gender theory for Saber WHICH I UNDERSTAND because honestly building a strong female character faculty is a better cause but all my precious gender theory

but oh my god this was pretty much me on my first watch of the series, I pretty much alternate between wanting to pick him up and carry him out of the Grail war and look after him and wanting to shake him because oh my god Kariya you have the best intentions but you're such a dumbass look at your choices. BASICALLY HIS PART OF F/Z IS "HOW MUCH MORE CAN WE HEAP ON TOP OF THIS GUY UNTIL HE IS NOT EVEN A SHELL OF HIMSELF ANYMORE" and if you take one thing out of fate/ it's that Being Matou Is Suffering cries... YEAH Fate/stay night has its problems but I enjoyed a lot of it anyway when I read it! Mostly the characters because the characters in f/sn are fab. I still definitely prefer /zero though and /zero has its own sets of light novels which have been translated here! They are worth a look because they get into the characters' heads a lot more imho :3

God every scene he's in is just depressing. I saw this tiny chibi comic once of Saber giving him food and died, honestly. This poor guy has absolutely nothing going for him whatsoever. Waver's mun still insists I at least look over f/sn's Let's Play which... I probably will at some point because whatevs.

SHE IS THE MOST PATIENT and also a librarian. She plays Waver as Lord El-Melloi II and if Saber comes to RC I'm dragging her as Waver and trying to bring a Diarmuid and a Nero with me you'll meet her trust me.
