but oh my god this was pretty much me on my first watch of the series, I pretty much alternate between wanting to pick him up and carry him out of the Grail war and look after him and wanting to shake him because oh my god Kariya you have the best intentions but you're such a dumbass look at your choices. BASICALLY HIS PART OF F/Z IS "HOW MUCH MORE CAN WE HEAP ON TOP OF THIS GUY UNTIL HE IS NOT EVEN A SHELL OF HIMSELF ANYMORE" and if you take one thing out of fate/ it's that Being Matou Is Suffering cries... YEAH Fate/stay night has its problems but I enjoyed a lot of it anyway when I read it! Mostly the characters because the characters in f/sn are fab. I still definitely prefer /zero though and /zero has its own sets of light novels which have been translated here! They are worth a look because they get into the characters' heads a lot more imho :3

God every scene he's in is just depressing. I saw this tiny chibi comic once of Saber giving him food and died, honestly. This poor guy has absolutely nothing going for him whatsoever. Waver's mun still insists I at least look over f/sn's Let's Play which... I probably will at some point because whatevs.

SHE IS THE MOST PATIENT and also a librarian. She plays Waver as Lord El-Melloi II and if Saber comes to RC I'm dragging her as Waver and trying to bring a Diarmuid and a Nero with me you'll meet her trust me.
