(There's nothing in the rules about whether your character knows s/he must obey, or knows that s/he must be obeyed. Likewise, the reason why this little obedience-virus is floating around is up to you. Make it a deliberate attack, make it a random spasm. Add context! And as always, warnings should go in the subject lines.
