[ Jean tries, he does, he tries not to groan or whimper but suddenly Marco is practically on top of him and that's great, it's amazing-- having Marco this close is wow Jean can't even think straight. He doesn't have to worry about being embarrassed with Marco, doesn't have to think about what he says or what he does or even how he feels. It's just Marco; on his lips, in his breath, under his hands and Jean is leaning right into him, pulling him closer just because he never wants to risk losing this again. He couldn't bear it. ]

[ It doesn't take long until Marco's repressed feelings over several months are out in full force, because really, there's no way they couldn't be. Marco didn't exactly think much of this date, because it was probably going to result in just a regular outing that'd result in not much. But, turns out he was wrong, and the current moment just proves it. There's nowhere else he'd rather be, and as Jean's embrace tightens around him, he can't help but push him back as gently as he can, without ever separating their lips, so that he's entirely on top of him. Heck, being a calm and collected person, it's rare for him to ever be this proactive, but, in light of the situation, he just can't help it. ]

Marco... [ Jean goes with the motions, letting Marco move and nudge him wherever he wants, taking to his lips with a slow kiss. Marco taking control is... definitely a little hot, if Jean has to be honest. And maybe he'd never quite thought of Marco in this context, not exactly, but it sure is wonderful. Jean wishes he could let Marco know, just show him how much this means to him and how happy and great and warm Jean feels, all thanks to Marco. ]

[ Instead he ends up saying that. ]

[ It just figures that Jean would pull one of these, and the fact Marco's just so used to it makes him giggle a bit. Even if he's been a bit disconnected from the whole romance thing all his life he can't help but think that kissing is one of the things he'd have absolutely no issue with practicing regularly. He smiles at Jean, still blushing profusely. ]

So do yours. [ And at that, he reaches over toward Jean's lips with his hands, wiping off a chocolate smudge from when he stuffed his face earlier. ]

But it's fine, you're already sweet enough as it is. [ Marco that was probably they gayest thing you've said in your life and you're going to regret it later on. ]

Oh my god, Marco. [ Jean starts laughing-- he tries to stop, really, but he can't for at least a few seconds. Maybe more. Marco is practically laying on top of him and they were totally set to get all hot and steamy and Marco had to go and say that, it's so Marco to say something that... that cute. Jean just has to pull him closer while he still tries to catch his breath. ] That was the lamest thing I've ever heard. I love you.

[ Uh, well that's actually true but you may be rushing it a little, Jean. ]

[ Well, maybe he just said it in that usual casual manner people sometimes do, maybe he didn't drop a huge bomb. Marco's just going to start smiling alongside him. ]

[ And at that he just sort of slumps down on Jean's chest, using his crossed arms as support. ]

[ YEAH GREAT MARCO DIDN'T FREAK OUT. Good, because Jean meant it more than he's willing to admit right now. Instead he decides he'll just focus on how nice and warm it is to have Marco pressed on top of him, even if he's kinda heavy-- it's not like that matters. He and Marco are dating now. ]

Hey, I don't have moods! [ Jean grumbles, too happy to get too mad but he feels like he should protest anyway. ] The people we hang out with just tend to be really, really stupid.

[ Yeah, Jean, because you're so buff. He slides his arms down, setting them on the small of Marco's back, just holding him there. Man, to think Marco would be okay with something this... cheesy, well. Jean is enjoying it way more than he lets on. He could fall asleep like this. ]

[ Jean you're about as muscled as 5 y.o Reiner. Thank god it's Marco and not anyone else because he's used to all of these snippets of his already. He just nods at Jean's declaration of manhood, and would roll his eyes if they weren't closed. ]

If you say so, Jean. [ Even though that's his run of the mill answer, Jean's words are somehow comforting when he actually means them, and Marco just can't help but be happy whenever he is. ]

You know, you really are a great guy when you want to be. [ Even if that comes seemingly out of the blue, it's somewhat appropriate in Marco's view. When Jean's calm and relaxed, he's just a really nice presence to have around. ]

I'm always great! [ Jean balks. On one hand, Marco is implying he's not a great guy all the time. On the other hand, it's Marco; he only speaks from the heart. And Jean knows he's a piece of shit half the time, too. So really, it's a nice compliment. Jean blushes cause he knows Marco means well. ]

He can't even blame Marco for that, not with the way his chest feels warm and tight, the way he'd never complain about Marco being 'too close' or 'too cheesy.' That's all Jean. It's part of what Jean loves about Marco. He really should've realized sooner... ]

I guess I wouldn't be letting you lay on me till my arm goes numb, if I didn't... y'know. I mean...

[ Aw Jean, you tried. Talking about feelings is just hard, it's ok. ]
