Time for another test drive!

G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
Cloud Strife | Final Fantasy 7
[Cloud grunts as he stumbles backwards, clutching the frame of the doorway just in time to stop himself from falling over the railing behind him. His other hand held his side. It wasn't a bad hit, but he was caught off guard and blood was beginning to soak his shirt. He grimaces, pushing away the pain. He can't let himself get distracted by it.]
No. Not going to die here.
[He rushes back inside the tower, scooping up his fallen sword. He has too much to protect here, too much to protect back home, this WON'T be his final resting place.]
4) The Black Stallion Saloon -
[It wasn't 7th Heaven, but it'd have to do. Cloud had only just arrived when he heard word of who was manning the bar at the Saloon. If Tifa really was here, maybe she'd have some answers for him, or at least a lead on work. Lots of people were looking to hire ex-SOLDIER mercenaries back home after all.
Whether or not she is there when he arrives remains to be seen. Maybe he will run into some other denizens of the city first.]
Wild Card: Or anything else
Couldn't resist.... Clock Tower
What she hadn't anticipated on her outing was blood. She could smell it in the air, faint and coppery in the afternoon wind. Feet took her slowly, carefully to the clock tower, eyes scanning for sight of
Sephirothany monster that might be nearby. The first signs of blood came at the door that led up the numerous steps to the top of the building.]....Shiva's tits...
[Elena hated stairs. They were a pain in the ass to climb - healthy or otherwise - but the smell of blood was stronger in the contained space. Pushing the door loudly against the wall behind it, Elena took a few careful steps into the darkened staircase.]
....Hello?

Cloud had already managed to cut down a few, but he underestimated their speed and mobility in an enclosed place like this. Blood was soaking the side of his shirt where one of the two remaining ones had gotten a clean hit in.
He glances over as he hears Elena's voice from the stairwell.]
Damnit. STAY BACK! IT'S NOT SAFE UP HERE!
[He moves to position himself between the monsters and the stairs. Now he has to keep their attention on him, keeping his sword up and ready to block the next attack.]

STAND BACK. I'M COMING.
[A pale verdant glow surrounded her hand, warm and enveloping around fingers and wrist, before being directed downward. The stone beneath her feet rumbled and shook before thrusting upward in a small circular shaft, projecting Elena upward in the tight space. She stopped five feet from the top of the stairs, unable to go much further magically, taking the steps with agonizing speed.]
Hold them steady, but get ready to get out of the way, I'll take the rest out.

One of the creatures snarled and snapped at Cloud, threateningly lethal but easily blocked with his sword. Instead of flesh it got a mouth full of metal, recoiling as it was shoved away, one of its fangs skittering off into the shadows of the tower.
After what happened in Sector 7, trusting the Turks with his life was not something that he wanted to do, but Tifa told him he could trust her. He swung the buster sword again, herding the monsters into a group in front of them.]
Ready.
4
There are no words, for she is unsure if what she seeing isn't some terrible joke. She remains silent, still trying to process just what her amber-colored eyes were looking upon.]
Re: 4
and if it was a customer's grabby hands at fault, then she certainly knew how to send them packing.Even so, this reaction was more than he was expecting. She hadn't even reacted like this when he showed up in Sector 7 for the first time. Well, even if he had no idea where he was, he might as well play it cool. He smirks and casually brushes back one of his hair spikes.]
Hey.
Re: 4
Hey?!
[She begins to look aggitated, furious as she repeats his greeting over and over again. She laughs every so often, shaking her head as she puts her hands on her hips, looking up and down at the audacious man standing in her doorway.]
HEY?! THAT'S.. THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?!
[Boots pound against the floor like that of a marching band's percussion, keeping a fast rhythm as they hastily walk across the saloon and over to the her childhood friend.
Tears instantly pour from her eyes as she jumps up to embrace him in a hug. Her squeeze is like that of a hanging rock climber, keeping a secure hold on him as if her hug would keep him from disappearing. her cries are muffled as she buries her face into his clear shoulder, avoiding the armor.]
Re: 4
{You sure worked hard, right?}
His mind flashes blank for a moment at the same time she hugs him, his initial confusion easily masked at surprise at her reaction. And truthfully he IS a bit surprised. Did something happen?
His hands twitch, wanting to hug her back but...he just places his hands on her shoulder and pushes her away slightly so he can look her in the face.]
Where are the others? This doesn't look like Corel Prison.
Re: 4
Corel Prison..? Why would we be in Co-Oh..
[It clicks, and she is now well aware of why he would even bother to ask such a thing. She lowers her head, bringing a hand to her forehead as she tried to rub the stress away but with little to no success.]
The others- They aren't here currently. So far it's just myself, you, Elena of the Turks, and.. And Zack.. But, I'll explain that later. Cloud, what's the last thing you remember before arriving here? Were we at the Gold Saucer Park?
Cloud you could be anywhere, he's going to know you're there xD
He'd found he's had to turn the 'volume' down metaphysically whereas the Cloud he remembered had only been influenced in times of despair. It was almost as if-
And so Sephiroth intentionally heads for the burnt out remains of the ShinRa Hotel, confident that Cloud would be drawn there as well.]
Every step he makes, every move he makes, you'll be watching him?
Finding that it was a burned out ruin, he couldn't say whether or not he was surprised. Shin-ra may be on top when it comes to technology, but they seemed to have a lot of problems with maintaining buildings they were no longer interested. It looked like the fire had happened over a year ago however.
He turns as he hears the footsteps behind him. His eyes go wide as he sees the man in the black cape.]
"It...it can't be..."
<insert appropriate keysmash here>
The familiar blond head confirms what Sephiroth already knows; Cloud is in Ruby City. Though as his enemy turns there is somewhat of a thrum of instinct deep inside but Sephiroth can't quite direct his attention through their cellular link as he would expect, easily, to be able to - it's rather odd, and it's not clear on which side the miss-connect is. He narrows eyes as he picks out the distinct differences in appearance compared to what fleeting recollection he has from that last fight. Similar to Tifa...]
"I wondered how long it would be before you found your way here, too."
[For now, any trace of the inner concern Sephiroth feels is completely masked.]
