G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Have no fear, a meme for you is here.

Directions:

• Post with your character with their name and canon on top!


• Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.


• If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.

1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.


2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?


3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!


4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.


5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

Scenarios

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.


2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.


3. Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?


4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!

Train Station

[She stumbles unceremoniously out of the train with a cry, clutching at her broken leg. Carol has to drag herself over to the nearest bench, finding the watch as she goes. She gives it a good once over, the scientist in her wondering how it works before she activates the video function to communicate with the city at large.]

I am... Lieutenant Carol Marcus of the USS Enterprise. Can anyone hear me?

Le Cafe Anglais - Inclement weather

[Someone had set her up with a cast and crutches, incredibly inconvenient for a woman who was used to the advanced medical technology of the Federation but it would do.

When it had started raining, Carol had immediately made for the nearest building and gone inside rather than letting the slick streets send her sprawling and possibly risking another broken bone.]

[After a few moments' silence, a woman's voice responds from the watch, the accent hard to place; after a moment, a pale-skinned face fills the screen, one red eye filling it for a moment before pulling back into a more reasonable frame.]

Can't get the hang of this thing...hello? Hello? Did you say you're on a ship? Is there something going on at the lake?

[defusing]

[It's only thanks to her Starfleet training and experience with various alien races that Carol doesn't react to the pale skin or red eye. Carol brushes a bit of hair from her face and shakes her head, trying not to move much.]

No, I'm not on one now. I've just left the train but I'm stationed on board a starship.

[fangs_for_the_memories]

[There's a pause, the 'camera' of the watch shifting slightly, as Sasha 's expression goes blank. Starships? Really?]

That's...a new one. You said you are in the train station? Do you need help? You sound like you are in pain, and I am not far.

[Sasha grins, a quick flash of startlingly white teeth.]

I promise I don't bite.

[defusing]

I am, yes. [She winces, looking to her leg before back at the watch and nodding.] My leg is broken, not sure how badly. I was on my way to the medbay to get it fixed before... this happened.

[Well, she was being carried mostly.]

I'd appreciate the help though.
