G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.


2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

1.) Train Station

*Something a bit unusual when the train stops this time. It's not the fact that when the doors open, whoever's just arrived doesn't immediately leave, though. That's standard enough, we suppose.

What's unusual is that when the occupant DOES leave, she leaves floating through the roof.*

Wow... These devices humanity have managed to devise over the years really are fascinating! I wonder what powers this thi -- hey HEY HEY DON'T JUST DRIVE AWAY FROM ME! GET BACK HERE YOU STUPID METAL BEAST!

2.) The Cathedral

*Some time later, she pauses in front of the cathedral, mulling the architecture. Those just meeting her might notice that she has no feet, but rather a pair of twin ghost tails where they should be. THAT'S mildly unnerving.*

Hmm, I think I know this. This is one of those, ah, "Christian" churches I heard people passing by the mausoleum talking about. I think. Sure is strange architecture. I should tell Prince Shotoku about these. ...assuming I get back to her soon, anyway. *sigh*

[Okay, this was one of the weirdest things Darja'd seen outside someone's mind. She's fairly certain she isn't dreaming, but she pinches herself just to make sure. A hallucination from outside? No, she would've noticed that and been able to block it. And she definitely can feel their thoughts there.

It's called a cathedral. One of those overly large and gaudy places. I suppose it's beautiful enough.

[She doesn't bother asking about Prince Shotoku. It'll probably come up anyway. Still, a female prince, huh? A dashing figure like those you see in dramas and animations, that'd be nice. Especially someone with honest thoughts.

*We suspect she'd be a bit disappointed with "Prince" Shotoku then. She did kind of conduct a war pretending to be part of a religion she wasn't in to increase its legitimacy and decrease the odds of other people being able to take over and lead Japan, after all.*
