G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Directions:

2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.


5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.


2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.


3. Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

[Dave is one of the unlucky kids who happens to be nearby when Utsuho drops her 'lunch'. To his credit, he doesn't jump twelve feet in the air; he jumps a mere three, skittering to the side and away from the corpse, blanching at the sound of cracking bones and squishing flesh.

Her possessive growl makes him raise both brows, and he lifts both hands up, palms out, fingers spread. From behind his mirrored black shades, Dave assesses the girl, trying to gauge her age. Not that her age really matters, he guesses; not since she's carrying corpses and oh yeah has some huge fuckoff wings.]

No, no, chicka, no stress. I don't, uh, want it. Promise. Got no interest in dead things. At least, not dead bodies. Not for any serious purposes. Got about as much interest in that body as you do in tearing my eyes out. Which is 'no interest at all', I hope.

[ And just like that...

She believes him. Her demeanor softens, her feathers bristle less. Still, she takes the corpse by the hand. ] A...aa. Good.

Also! If you have any eggs, I'm calling those as mine right now, too! Got it?!

Well, whatever. He's got a tiny dragon for a pet back at the house and one of his best friends has candy corn horns, who is he to judge?]

Whoa, whoa, you might have to fight Sweet Jeff for those eggs, that lil' dude loves him some eggs. He goes after eggs like pac-man on crack, I'm not even kidding. But maybe we can work somethin' out, get like an egg-share goin'.

I'm Dave. [He almost offers her his hand, but then thinks better of it.] You got a name, feathery female of fear?

....Wait-- what--?! Who's Jeff? I'll take him-- I'll take him down if it means getting more eggs!
