Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.


2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?


3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!


4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.


5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.


2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.


3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

Yosuke has gone to the Black Stallion to get himself a burger. Someone had to go a bit against Chie's steak habits. Why did she love those so much anyways? It was always going to be a mystery to him.

Once he entered the Stallion, his gaze fell upon a guy with a suit. Woah, not too many people were running around like that around here. He walks up to him, accidentally overhearing the words. Could it be...

"Are you new around here?"

Ken perked up at the voice, turning to the side on the stool. "I guess. The train just dumped me here. But... this certainly isn't L.A. and I'm fairly certain it's not Hong Kong either so... I'm not really sure where I am."

He extends a hand. "Name's Ken Masters. You?"

"Yeah, it's... doing that to everyone, believe me."

Yep, that was a new arrival, alright. Well, so far he seemed friendly enough - and pretty calm for someone who just got kidnapped into a strange world.

Yosuke takes the hand.

"I'm Yosuke Hanamura. It's nice to meet you. Even if the circumstances are not that fortunate. I guess I could help you out a little with where you are currently."

"At least I'm not alone in that..." He shakes his head and runs a hand through his hair, trying his best to keep the calm facade up. Really, he's suspicious of just about everything and everyone. Heck, he wouldn't be surprised if this were all some overly-elaborate Shadaloo scheme to keep him out of the tournament.

"Any help figuring out where I am and how I get out of here would be appreciated, Yosuke."

"Alright. Errm, you are in a place called Ruby City. It's another world, and some guys have kidnapped us here. I'm not really sure how it works..."

It was likely magic, of a kind or the other. Yosuke crossed his arms with a sigh.

"So far there is no known escape route back to our original worlds, but if you need something - everything here is pretty much for free, sou you don't have to worry about that part."
