What are you doing trying to sleep here? Get up.

[Mordred... He doesn't have legs. Isemi looks up at her, unsure of who she is, but not about to be rude to anyone. He manages a smile.]

I'm sorry, I can't. Do you know where the hospital is?

Yeah. You need someone to get you there?

[For a second, she entertains the thought of rolling him there while he's still lying on the ground.]

[He's sure Rider wouldn't have meant to leave him by himself.]

[She won't make any motion to help until he answers. No use helping someone who might be an enemy.]

Probably because she's a bitch. A lot of women are like that. Stupid, backstabbing bitches. And men too. Evil assholes. In fact, a lot of humans are like that. Period.

No, I don't think that's true. Most people are good, or they have goodness in them. Even if they do terrible things.

[Isemi doesn't seem to resent Manaka or the researchers who experiment on him.]

I made a friend. That's the most important thing anyone can do. It's worth living for.
