[ Guess who just so happens to be sliiiiding right into the seat across from yours, Apollo? Really, if he thinks he's going to get any real 'work' done, or if he even thinks this is going to end up being some sort of relaxing outing for himself, he should probably prepare for the inevitable chaos that only Trucy can bring.

Not that she's gone out of her way to cause trouble or anything since he's arrived, mind you. She's even tried to give him his space, despite wanting to be glued to his side constantly to chatter about all of the things that have happened in the city since she arrived.

The good things, anyways.

She's not from his time, that much she's already been made aware of. It's been hard not to poke and prod at him for info, too -- but she's been in that boat, and she's definitely not going to put him in the position a certain Klavier Gavin put her in by asking about the ~future~.

She beams at him from her seat and leans back, drumming gloved fingers across the table as she finally greets him. ]

Hey, Polly! So, what do you think of the city so far? Has everyone been treating you well? Most of the people here are pretty nice... at least, they sure seem to be.

[ Well, he's more than used to not having anything possibly related to a moment's rest when Trucy is around. Not that he'd have it any other way, mind you. He's gotten too used to having her badgering him 24/7 that he just can't imagine life any other way. The tips of his lips curve slightly as soon as Trucy slides in, closing his book slowly as his shifts his attention away from it and toward her. ]

[It's good to know that at least some things never change.]

Well, even with the spontaneous arrival, it hasn't been too crazy to handle.

[Though I'm sure that's mostly because of the time I've spent at the Anything Agency.]

You look like you've settled in nicely yourself. Care to share your findings with a newcomer?

[ She really is glad to see him. It's not that she wants him to suffer along with the rest of them when bad stuff happens, but it's good to have someone she's familiar with here. ]

...Stay away from the vampires. Except Maurice, he's a vampire and he's pretty nice. Same with Seras... the rest of them I'd avoid. There's monsters too, but I still haven't gotten around to going to see them myself.

[ She hums thoughtfully and then smiles again. ]

Also, if you haven't noticed, everything is free, which is pretty neat! And the best part... no school!

[I've absolutely no idea why I expected anything else.]

Right, so I've heard from Maya. [ Sigh. ]

Just how is any semblance of order maintained around these parts?

Oh, you've met Auntie Maya? Isn't she the coolest?

Oh, yeah. It's true! There are lots of people here who can do tons of cool stuff!

Well, we all do... sort of. There's no real police here, and considering there was a war not too long ago, our kidnappers don't seem to care about order at all.

A war. [Right. Something tells me I'd have a better chance of survival in the death row.]

So, besides "Try not to get brutally murdered", how do you spend the days around here?

[Maybe if I change the subject, potentially not-deadly things will come to light. ]

[ It's hard not to flinch at that 'brutally murdered' comment. She's not even sure she didn't flinch, but she puts on a smile again regardless. ]

Well, I've started the agency again... I haven't had time to do much with it, though, with everything that's happened. Honestly, without school or work, though? It can get boring around here when it's quiet like this. But now that you're here, I'll bet we can find lots of stuff to do!

[ Read: She'll be dragging you out on ridiculous adventures. At least things are free here, and your wallet won't get emptied when she decides that she -needs- something? ]

[ That's the optimism he's been looking for. With Trucy around, the city doesn't seem so bad, after all. He's not quite sure about her slight pause there, but he won't pry. ]

Great! Too bad we don't have any judges or prosecutors around, or else we could have some good old-fashioned trials to bring these baddies to Justice.

[ Letting your dork side leak out a bit there, Apollo. ]

Still, it is the anything agency, so I'm sure we'll manage just fine. We could even open a small business to pass the time, or something of the sort.

[ He's glad his wallet hypothetically safe for now, and even if things are free, he'd rather find some occupation rather than bum around all day. ]

Well, we do have two prosecutors, technically... Mr. Gavin and Mr. Edgeworth are both here. I haven't actually run into Mr. Edgeworth, though, and Mr. Gavin and I... have kind of been avoiding one another. Just a little. He asked me about Kristoph and I told him the truth, he didn't believe me... you know where I'm going with this.

[ You know how Klavier is, Apollo... ]

Hm, come to think of it, I'm not even sure this place has a jail. So what would we do with them even if we brought them to justice?

[ Okay, no, now she's seriously contemplating this... ]

I guess we could put them all in an apartment or something, but that really wouldn't hold most of them...

[ She grins at that last bit and nods enthusiastically. ]

We could! I've already got an office space here, so at least we'd have that ready to go!

Mr. Edgeworth and Mr. Gavin are here? Just goes to show how big the city is, I had no idea. But if we don't really have a jail, it would be pointless to hold a trial, that's for sure.

[Maybe a makeshift jail, like Trucy suggested? Eh, that wouldn't work. Regardless, I can see how Klavier wouldn't take news like that well if he's also from a point in the past compared to her.]

But if you've got space ready, maybe we could come through with some form of a plan. Got any ideas?

[ She taps a finger to her chin, considering. Does she have ideas, Apollo? When DOESN'T she? ]

Well, I've just been using it lately as a meeting space for the people who have joined the Agency. Hm... legal advice? Ooh, ooh! MAGICAL legal advice!

[Sorry Trucy, but I don't exactly have a magical attorney's badge.]

For some reason, I don't think we'd have much of a clientele.

[ There's gotta be something, though... ]

We're going to use it as our base for Operation Sir Mommy.

[ ...uh-oh. Apollo is about to be dragged into something he probably really won't want any part of. She grins. ]

Well, Sir Hellsing is a knight. A lady knight! She's so cool and perfect for daddy... they just don't realize it yet!

[ The mischievous look on her face doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. ]
