7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

Really? [Hm; he must've been the first costumed crimefighter to show up. Or at least the only one that was active-- or maybe they were just less common. It did seem like a big city, and Robin almost felt too high-tech to actually be here.] It's pretty common where I'm from.

[As Maya stepped closer to the edge, Robin stepped to the side and jumped up, doing a small flip in the air before he landed on the ground next to her. Show-off.]

Call me Robin. {He grinned and held a hand out to her as he straightened up.] Nice to meet you, miss.

Thanks. It's all part of my training. [Well he couldn't very well say 'I've been able to walk a tightrope since I could walk because I was raised in a travelling circus' unless he wanted a quick ticket to losing his secret identity.] All in a night's work tracking down bad guys and foiling supervillains.

[The mature-- and correct-- thing to do would be to clarify for her: no he was not really a "superhero," as he lacked any superpowers like Superman or the Flash, and he and his partner were more detectives and costumed crimefighters than heroes like the big blue boyscout.]

That's right! You didn't think the cape's just for fun, did you?

His brow furrowed and he frowned, but given most of face was covered by a mask, it looked much more like a pout.] Hey, that's not important! My size actually makes it way easier to sneak in places, jump buildings, and take down guys ten times my size!

I mean, I know someone who became a lawyer when she was 18.

Hmm... I think to make sure the right guy gets caught he'd have to be more of a detective, so he could track down the right perp. Or instead of helping the investigation, he can break the good guys out of jail if they get wrongfully accused.

...Uh, then again that'd be against the law on its own, on top of the vigilantism.
