CR/Plotting/Handwaving Meme

Time for another of these! You all know what to do by now, and we all love some good CR, don't we? You can either ask for/offer CR you'd like to play out... Or you can discuss what may or may not already have happened!

INSTRUCTIONS

♥ Post with your characters, one per comment or a catch-all. If you have any CR in particular you'd like to rally, mention it here!
♣ Go around to other characters and discuss ways your characters may have interacted in handwaved settings. This could be casual meetings at the pub, patrols they may have gone on together, hikes and explorations, or just whatever strikes your fancy!
♦ Come up with some backstory for friendships that might not have gotten played out as fully as you'd have liked. These guys are trapped on a floating island together, 24/7... You know they bump into each other! New CR is highly encouraged - you never know what might happen.

It'd keep Dante busy B) But canon reviewing after not playing that typical teenager that is somehow Vergil's kid according to the strange novel canon. But yeah, most fitting gif! Even if it was the cause of me wasting hours in the game. Game progression? What's that? There's a pole, I'm going to mess with that instead.

Yeeess and boy does he need the distraction. And man do we even know if that crazy book is canon? It was technically written freelance and Capcom has neither confirmed nor denied (as usual). EITHER WAY maybe!nephew yesssss.

Pfff and exactly. Play with all the things. Wall jumping and poles galore.

One of these days when I am not super lazy! And I have no idea. I'm still like "da fuq were you guys on?" Though I did always AU it up with a friend's Vergil since it does make for some nice AU building. Maybe!nephew who somehow takes after maybe!uncle instead of maybe!father! ...so many maybes. No wonder Nero is the way he is.

This is totally what the "stylish" bit is about. I see a thing, I'm going to use that thing and waste precious gaming time.

Wow, so rude, maybe!uncle. No wonder Nero went to town on punching you like crazy (y'know, minus the whole you just shot the damn priest what the fuck?) Obviously this possible Sparda family would have the best reunions.

Oh yeah, that's right. Man, my being away from the games has messed up my memory of DMC's purpose. Either that or the fact I attempted to play DmC to give it a chance has screwed it up completely.

This family has the best bonding rituals. Troll fighting (seriously that entire fight was Dante trollololing until Nero punched his lights out). I almost feel sorry for the city. Almost.

I still haven't finished that I need to sometime. But yesss all the style. Makes me want to play agai again |D.

It's how you truly become a Sparda. And eh. The city can just deal with it. It's another Sparda family reunion. If they have a problem with it, just take it up with Sparda himself.

I actually do too. I played the demo and the first 30 minutes and stopped. Gameplay is so good but story is so "no" material. Why Capcom why. And same here. Which I might end up doing for the possible Nero bringing and just in general.

Exactly! True Spardas beat the tar out of each other to say hello. It's just how they communicate???

Gameplay is a lot of fun, characters so far are meh at best. Not necessarily terrible but I found them to be very bland and predictable. As long as I remind myself its a different company doing a different game and not actually linked to the story I'm used to I can avoid being annoyed by it. I imagine they get more interesting as it progresses (I hope??).

You should do it Dante wouldn't mind castmates |D.

If anything, blame that demon blood, am I right?

Yeah. I honestly found Kat a bit more exciting than Vergil and Dante themselves, but even then I'm really "bluh" about them all. But definitely imagining that it's a completely different game and company helps make the game better (like seriously everything that happens could have been put to a totally original game and not some rebootish bit SO MUCH POTENTIAL LOST).

Is it bad that I already semistarted an app? Because I did. It might be a thing.

Yeah that's my biggest disappointment, the setup for something awesome was there and then it falls disappointingly flat in the end. It had so much potential! Even if the nephilim part is kinda lulzy.

No, I don't think bad is the word we're looking for. Maybe awesome? Perhaps YAY!?!?? I think yay /chinhands.

Maybe they'll learn and do something similar again but make it something of it's own bit.

Also apparently they did say it was true but it just screws up all the timeline stuff since, by then, Vergil's already been out of the picture for some time, unless it happened sometime during/prior to 3. But I'm still a bit unsure about it all. >>;

Oh did they actually get around to confirming it? Except... yeah... and... Vergil doesn't really seem the type so that's even more confusing wow nothing makes sense my brain sob. So much unsure ;A;. HELLO SURPRISE NEPHEW WELCOME TO THE FAMILY. Sorry it's horrible here.

That icon is perfect response. But yeah, apparently at some conference or something, it was said to be canon. And Sparda family is pretty horrible. I can bet you anything that Eva's shaking her head at this family.
