1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.


2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?


3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!


4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.


5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.


6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.


7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.


2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.


3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

[The fuck is you? The fuck is this? Who the you fuck is you?

She stares for a moment, then looks down at her watch, then back up again. Without any more hesitation, she tosses the watch to the girl, not a single fuck given as she walks past her.]

I couldn't care less. I have no use for a watch. You deal with it.

[thedancingtitan]

[She isn't even paying attention really. She's too busy tossing the watch away for a second time, and continuing her walk forward.

Another pause. The watch is back in her pocket. She growls, clenching her fingers around the metal tightly.]

Are you kiddin' me?!

[She looks around from the top of her perch. Now that she was used to it, she was starting to actually enjoy her new steed. 3D maneuver gear would move faster, but it would make it a lot harder to inspect the area.

She hums a bit, scratching her head idly.]

Seems like it. Wonder if they have any food around. I'm starvin'.

[As if to prove a point, her stomach growls loudly. How long had it been since she ate?]

[Looking up, her eyes widen at the familiar sight. She stares for a long moment before looking down at the pile of snow, then back up again.]

...Answers. I want them, now.

[He raises his head, stopping to sniff the air.]

I can detect meat in that direction. Smells freshly cooked.

Then what are we waiting for? Let's eat. I think better on a full stomach.

Geez, it's not that hard.

[Why could Kanji always miss the point like that? Though once Kanji brings up the thing with the spell...]

Actually, I think I can do that.

[He follows his nose, leaping up to travel along the rooftops. Gradually, he makes his way to a place where it seems one of the beasts of this land has been killed and cooked over a fire-pit.]

Well, it's been fed on, but there should be enough for you. I smell the presence of other humans here, recently.

[She hops down, landing on the ground beside the fire pit. It was effortless, the way she handled heights. Almost like she'd done it several times before.

gee...

Poking at the meat, she takes a bit off to chow down on it. It didn't suck, so she continued to eat, mumbling through a full mouth.]

Gee, it's almost like we're in a city or somethin'.

[Except it came out more like, "Gee, if amof ike wr n cify r smmfn."]

[Swallowing the rather large bite, she looks up to the beast and raises a brow.]

You're tellin' me you've never been to a city? Geez. Go out sometime.

Humanity is long gone, where I'm from. I've only met a handful of humans, and all were brought to that time.

[She goes quiet, making damn sure that she remembered to put her foot in her mouth later. They were the same.
Looking down at her food, she took another bite, chewed, and swallowed before speaking again.]

You too, huh?

Me too?

Humanity was weeded down to a select area within the walls of a city doomed to be attacked by Titans...

Least that's where I'm from. [She couldn't allow herself to care. She didn't deserve to. Not after what she did.]

I'm not sure what Titans are, and I'm not sure quite how it happened in my world. All I was told by Tarouza was that humans wiped themselves out. Without them, the earth retook everything. Looking across the world, you would never think man ever existed.

So it's normal to be a giant talking whatever you are then?

Most animals are quite large, though even in terms of tigers I am quite immense.

I never want to know what a tiger looks like back home. Ever.

[Definitely not. Who knew how big they would be. Sure, they had livestock, but whatever this guy was was definitely not part of that catalog.]

[Answers? Well, that might be too much to sign... Eren leans down and extends a hand to Ymir, offering her a ride up to his shoulder. He places her gently on his shoulder and then lets his Titan's head fall forward. The neck cracks open, releasing a plume of steam in the cold, and Eren pulls himself partially free. Mostly just his head and torso. He stretches the cords of muscle and tissue attached to his face and neck, but doesn't break them]

Haa... haa... Ymir!! You're here!

[thedancingtitan]

[She stayed steady the entire way up, knowing full well what he was up to. When he spoke, she growled under her breath.]

You were expectin' Saint Nick or somethin'? C'mon, Jaeger, what's goin' on here? Where are we?

[greatrage]

Saint who...?] [Eren blinks, then shakes his head] Ah. We're um... we're in Ruby City! [he points with his Titan's hand to the center of town, where the clocktower and huge red christmas tree are currently residing] It's a whole different world than ours! There's no walls, and no Titans! ... Well, except Shifters. Usually there's unlimited food, too, but... that kind of ran out, I think.

[thedancingtitan]

[No food? Wow, this place was kind of useless, huh?
Her gaze followed his gesture, taking in the sights around her. He was right. No walls. Her stoic expression doesn't really change much as she looks back.]

So...what do we even do here, then?

[No Titans. No fights. What was the point? It'd been all they've known. It had been all Ymir had known in the five years she regained her humanity. What now?]

[Annie's still wary of those from home, she doesn't know what people like Ymir know or what they think of her because of it. But she's also learned it's impossible to avoid them, so, might as well get it over with.]

It's just going to keep coming back.
