7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

[Kanji was pretty socially awkward. Anyone back in Inaba could have told you that. Well, if they weren't trembling in fear at his size and supposed anger issues. But, what no one but his closest friends knew was that Kanji Tatsumi loved cute things.

So, when he'd found the cafe, he'd realized that the atmosphere and everything else about it was perfect for him. He got to sit in a calm place where he could knit his plush dolls to his heart's content and no one bothered him.

Yep, he's been there, and the table is littered with his craftwork and various bits and bobs. He's pretty absorbed as he works, talking to himself from time to time.]

Wish I had some lace. Would make that dress really cute, yanno. Or some ribbons. Yeah, some blue and pink ribbons would really go well with that fabric pattern.

[Unbeknownst to him, Yosuke was sitting with the back against the place Kanji was sitting. He was just busy taking a sip of the tea - because that was really good tea - he heard a very familiar voice. A very familiar voice that was talking about what seemed to be about sewing. It almost made him spit out his tea.

He managed to gulp down his tea, luckily and then turned around to see his suspicions confirmed.]

[The younger teen looked up from his work at the sound of the familiar voice.]

Yosuke-senpai! What're you doin' HERE?!

[Um, his brain forgot to tell his hands to stop moving, and he might have the sewing needle now embedded pretty well in his thumb.

[Wait, that was probably not really the point here. He stands up and... wow, that looked painful. Like really painful.]

Whoa, how did you manage to do that?

Just got here today. Stopped in here to get a drink. Was workin' on some stuff, okay?

[Kanji grits his teeth as he grasps the needle and quickly yanks it out. Wow, look at all that blood. Whoops.]

Hey - what do you think you're doing?! I hope you've got some kind of patch!

I dunno how to use the damn thing! And how the hell was I supposed to know you were here? It ain't like you advertised that fact, yanno!

[He's just going to take out a few bandages and try to open them up and putting it on the wound. Can't do it by himself though. Dammit.]

[Well, Kanji is glad to see his friend, but they're really oil and water, you know.]

It ain't that much. I've had worse, yanno. [But he lets Yosuke help him, because despite his posturing, the damn thing hurts and it was pretty deep.] Too bad this ain't the TV world. It'd be fixed up with a quick spell.

[Why could Kanji always miss the point like that? Though once Kanji brings up the thing with the spell...]

[Kanji jumps up from the chair, dropping his project on the floor and nearly scrambling to keep from falling on his face.]

[ Trucy blinks, having to hold back the fit of giggles that she can feel building up. That had been a LOT funnier than she'd ever imagined it to be, honestly. ]
