[Lightning should have never told her about mistletoe and what it meant. It was a mistake, and a dangerous one, because Fang felt the need to uphold the tradition vigorously.

Fortunately, she'd managed to figure out that if she didn't stand in the doorway, she wouldn't be the one caught. Instead, she opted to stand to the side of the doorway, relaxed against a wall with her drink in hand.]

*Chika, of course, knows what mistletoe is all about--what normal mistletoe is all about, that is. She smirks as she sees Fang hovering around near a doorway, walking right into the danger zoooooone to go talk to her.*

Boy, you are not even being a little bit subtle about cruising the mistletoe, are you.

It's a glorious tradition that should be upheld. [She nods sagely as she takes a sip of her drink, grinning as she eyes the plant.]

I need to thank whoever decided to bring it into this world.

It's not as fun when everyone assumes straight kissing is what it's all about, but that's not as much a problem here, is . . . it . . .

*Yeah the trailing off happens as Chika realizes she's putting a hand on Fang's shoulder without really knowing why!*

[She hums, fairly oblivious to the touch as she remembers something she'd been meaning to say.]

Yeah. Mainly how to keep sane in a place like this.

[She smiles, feeling a bit of pride puff up in her. Ruffling her hair, she takes her hand and tugs her into the doorway. Can't very well hold up tradition without traditional ornaments right?. Pushing back her hair, she places a kiss on her forehead.]
