Christmas Gifting meme!

And for many of our city's residents, that means gift-giving! Use this meme as a centralized place to let everyone know what your characters will be giving to their CR, and to find out what they might be receiving! Just remember that it isn't all about the presents; if your character will be spreading goodwill and cheer in some other way,  say so here too!

This is really late. Most of Xion's gifts will have been done on time, but the ones that weren't I'll specify by gift.

Davesprite is getting a bundle of sheet music. Already in the works by the time of the Ghost Night, but solidified by that. She picked out the pieces very carefully based on what sounds she thought he'd like best. There are doodles on the margins, notes/annotations of her own, and, every so often, a little "I love you." She'll explain she hopes they can learn to play all of it together.

Dirk is getting a leather bracelet. Sort of. It's just a simple strip of leather that will end up being too small to fit around his hand and will have to be readjusted. It's very plain and unadorned. What makes it special is the word she painted on the inside of the leather, where no one would know it was there but him and her: family. He gets his gift the day after Christmas.

Jane C is getting a book. (It's, well, from the library. But she spent AGES looking for something of its like.)

Roxy is getting hand-made earrings that look like this, but black. They're carved out of wood and blocky instead of rounded, so they look sort of amateurish, but it's clear she put a lot of time and effort into them. Roxy's gift will be way late; she'll get it in the first week of January, sometime.

Dave Sr. A hat, gloves, and a scarf. The hat has snowmen and snowflakes on it, the scarf is adorned with reindeer, and the gloves have poofy little pom poms attached to the wrists. It's ironic, see? See?? (Did she do it right?) He'll get his gift a couple days after Christmas.

Bro It's .... ironic? (She has no real idea what irony means so she equates it more with "strange" and "random.")

Sollux she doesn't really know well enough yet to get something really personalized. Sorry buddy. He'll end up getting a pair of gloves - one blue and one red.

PART 2: ELECTRIC FUCK MY LIFE

In order by alphabetically-sorted canon:

Machi (yes, really) is going to get a few dried flowers bound with ribbon and a charm (that she hand-made, out of wood, and painted). The flowers are pretty and well-preserved, but there's something sort of sad about them. He'll get his gift a week after Christmas.

The 11th Doctor is gonna get a hand made card (it's rather pretty, made of red and green paper and bound up with white string) with a simple note thanking him for being there for her, and also, for looking after Aqua. There will a doodle inside of a Wayfinder. He gets his card two days after Christmas.

Celty is getting a yellow scarf to match her helmet.

Waver will receive free hugs for life a child's chemistry set she found in the toy shop. It's sort of a gag gift, but she also thought he might find it at least a little interesting.

Cloud might get cookies. He seems like a nice person, but she doesn't know him very well.

Elena, like Eleven, will get a card. Hers will be much simpler. Just a greeting, and a Merry Christmas, and a note simply saying I understand. I think I would like to be your friend after all.

Tifa gets ribbon hair ties. (They're not elastic, they're silk! Not that useful, actually.) She just thinks Tifa's hair is beautiful and wanted to get her something to set that off.

Elsa (yes really!) will get a doll. (Exact details may vary.) If she can't have her sister, well, she can at least have one companion around to love, right?

Katherine gets a blue sweater found in the clothing store. For no reason other than it's pretty, and she thinks Katherine will look pretty in it! (Plus, it's warm.)

Conrad gets a little tiny black cape. (It's a joke!) Plus a pair of nice fuzzy earmuffs that she thought were cute. (She's not even sure if he gets cold. She will feel so bad if she messed it up.) To round it off, a sweater vest. It just seemed like his thing.

Lamont COOKIES. I hope you like cookies Lamont. She still feels bad you feel bad about the war.

Aqua A Wayfinder, made of twigs. It isn't made quite right or very professionally. Where the green bits are is not plastic, or glass, but purple flower petals. The whole thing is bound together by string and glue, so it's very fragile.

Xigbar gets an eyepatch. THIS IS FOR BEING A JERK, JERK.

Zacharie will get a book of riddles.

Labrys gets a hair barrette that she found that happens to go with her, er, color scheme.

Madoka will receive exactly this. None of it is real gold, of course. The shell is one she found at the beach.

Eren gets two things. First: a book! A book of antique maps. (They're from Earth, though she doesn't know that.) It's a collection of world and European maps that demonstrate of the evolution of cartography over the course of a few centuries. Many of the maps have cool illustrations and dragons and sea monsters and shit, because that's how old-school cartographers rolled. (True story!) Second: a painstakingly carved little wooden Keyblade (modeled after the Kingdom Key, of course), but left unpainted. With it comes a note that says: to always keep the darkness at bay. This present takes her FOREVER, so it will get to him at the end of the second week of January.

Jean this. It's ... really more of a gag gift, than anything ... (she's just teasing!)

Erwin A blanket for his horse. It's not actually a proper horse blanket, as she does not know that is a thing which exists, but she does know he has a horse and that he cares about it and the winter's been super cold! Plus, it's practical, and she imagines he'd go in for practical.

Dug is just going to get a nice new bone bound up in a pretty bow.
