Inspired by the plurk meme last week or something, haven't you ever wanted to see how your CR would work in Ruby City? Well now your character was born and raised in the HP world. (And if you are a part of the HP cast then welcome home I suppose!)

⚘ RULES:
- Post with your character, the fandom, their house and if you want to, their year (or what their house was when they were a student, etc etc.)
- Character can be a Hogwarts Student, a visiting student for the Triwizard Tournament, or an adult of any sort! (If your character is "old" feel free to de age them, or have them be teachers. Or give options for both. That's my plan)
- Roll between 1-14 at RNG, or don't!
- Reply to others.
- Profit.

1 ⚘ CLASS: You may pick the class, but really the class picks you. Passing notes? Eying up the teacher? In class whispering? Spells going wrong? Any thing goes!

2 ⚘ LIBRARY: SSSSHHHH! It's study time, but some just don't see it that way.

3 ⚘ HOGSMEADE: With all that hard work, it's time for a well deserved break. Go for a walk, drop by the Three Broomsticks, get some shopping done, or maybe take a peek into the Shrieking Shack, so long as something doesn't grab you.

4 ⚘ QUIDDITCH: For some people, the Quidditch pit is the place to be. Whether you're practicing, watching a game or just doing homework in the stands, this might just be the place for you.

5 ⚘ FORBIDDEN FOREST: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? IT'S FORBIDDEN. Be careful the spiders don't get you.

6 ⚘ DIAGON ALLEY: Whether near or far, this is where your fellow wizards and witches will gather. Making a day of it or just dropping in to get some chores done? Take a load off, maybe keep an eye out for your friends as they come out of Gringotts or sneak off into Knockturn Alley.

7 ⚘ MEAL TIME: Ah, the Great Hall. A wonderful place to work or play, but then again there's always the Kitchens if you know where to find them.

8 ⚘ YULE BALL: Time to put your best foot forward. That is, until the Weird Sister's start to play. Then, all bets are off. Maybe somebody even spiked the punch when Professor McGonagall wasn't looking.

9 ⚘ SNEAKING AROUND: The Restricted Section? Going to get a midnight snack from the kitchens? Or someplace else? ...Are you sure you should really be in here?

10 ⚘ WANDERING THE GROUNDS: Much like sneaking around, but without the threat of...

11 ⚘ DETENTION: Well, that's what you get for...whatever you did. This isn't going to be fun, you can be sure of that.

12 ⚘ HOGWARTS EXPRESS: Back to wizards and witches, and magical beasts, to goblins and ghosts and to magical feasts! All aboard the Hogwarts Express, want anything from the trolly dear?

13 ⚘ COMMON ROOM: Perhaps you and somebody in your house are just chilling... or maybe- have you been crafty enough to sneak somebody from another house in?

14 ⚘ ACCIO OPTION: Pick your own or make something else up!

[ After class, Mikasa's still sitting left, patiently waiting for everyone to leave. Waver might see her in his side-view, however the exact moment she's seen the last person leave the room, she's going to just appear right in front of his desk. ]

Professor Velvet.

[ Announcing her sudden appearance, she brings forth some notes. ]

... I have some questions.

[Waver's cleaning off the chalkboard presently, and a sudden Mikasa does make him jump - just a little. He pauses, and turns to her.]

Fire away, Miss Ackerman.

[ She tries to keep her face entirely pokerfaced, but if Waver's paying good attention he might notice she's slipping a bit. ]

Where do you think I could get my hands on moonstone?

[ This is Mikasa, good student with all O's on her potion making and papers, surely she's not up to anything suspicious. ]

[The question's a surprise. The use of actual gems in potions is quite uncommon, mostly for economic factors. He fixes his eyes on Mikasa when he answers, for the sake of professionalism as well as trying to figure out what might prompt such a question.]

You'd need to use mail-owl services, I believe. The ingredient's a bit expensive, and there's no potion in my curriculum that uses it for that precise reason.

I expected such, though I wanted to know if there were other options.

[ Despite typically looking directly at people she's talking, she shifts her eyes. ]

I've been looking at some other potion books, I thought I'd look into some other potions.

[ It's not illegal. (She's checked.) Besides, as studious as she is she's ahead on her homework, so... ]

[That eye shift is a dead giveaway that she isn't telling him everything.]

What kind of potions specifically? I don't want anyone trying anything too far above their skill level, lest something go awry.

Temporary mood shifting potions. I assure you I won't use them for naught, professor.

[ Sorta. ]

I have been reading it up, and you might remember the essay where you made us pick the subject on our own. You did tell me it was a very good thesis, so I would like to try it out in practice.

[ Hopefully with the huge amount of students, Waver won't remember the exact subject, right??? .. Right??? ]

[Waver's lips thin, and there's nothing here that sets him at ease.]

It was a good thesis, and I don't actually object to you conducting your own research, but you absolutely have to do it under faculty supervision. Especially since this is mood alteration, and you'd need to use people as test subjects.

[tatakaeru]

[ A small pause, ]

... Yes.

[ She nods accordingly. ]

Professor Velvet, could you work with me?

[ Not noticing the accidental implication of asking him to be a test subject oops ]

If you bring me the book you're working from and show me specifically what you'd like to do, we can design something specific to meet your research needs. Admittedly, we might need a different option for human research subjects, as I don't think any students would be thrilled with being lab rats.

[tatakaeru]

[ There's another pause, before she pulls up a medium sized book on mood potions from her pile of books, setting the rest of them down on Waver's desk. It might take some time flipping through it, though she's definitely passing a page she's marked. ]

I had... a few in mind, but the sadness potion seems to be the easiest to start with.

[ Yeah. She'll go with that. ]

If you could record my reactions, I wouldn't mind testing them on myself.

[Waver takes the book, and picks it up to better inspect it. He knows the title, he's used a few potions from the book in his advanced classes.]

Actually, I think starting with the calming one would be easiest - it's closest to your present skill level. If you can get through it without issue, we can move onto that sadness one, which is the next step up. Is that acceptable?

[ Jason Todd needs a hobby and quidditch doesn't count.

Our Mister Todd just couldn't help himself sometimes; he had a wild side and a habit of doing things he probably shouldn't. Like flirting with teachers and making out with various boys and girls in closets and doing fun things like going to the forbidden forest or the restricted section. Really. Jason Todd needs a hobby. But until then, is that Waver Velvet? ]

Well look who it is, my favorite professor. [ Jason saunters up beside the man in Flourish and Blotts, looking much taller and broader than when Waver last saw him. Somebody had a growth spurt. ]

[Waver looks up from perusing a new book on ancient Greek potion use, and the fact he has to blink says everything about Jason's appearance. He laughs, just a little.]

Summer was very good to you, wasn't it Mr Todd?

[ He really can't help smiling wider in response to that laugh, the barest bits of white peeking out between his lips. Jason leans against the book shelf, stuffing his hands in his coat pockets. ]

What do you think, Professor? [ He raises an eyebrow, going to a full grin. ] Is it good for you too?

And here I was hoping you might've out grown that part.

[He selects a small paperback from the shelf, and introduces it - gently - to Jason's head.]

[ Jason laughs behind the book, pushing it out of his face. ]

Never!

[Back it goes on the shelf.]

Next one's a hardcover, Mr Todd.

[ Ah, the threat of bodily harm. It's like he's back at school already. ]

Aside from suddenly getting taller, how was your break?

Eh, it was alright.

[ It was actually pretty awkward since he and Bruce aren't really talking. He didn't exactly stay home for most of it but that isn't really something Jason wants to share. ]

Played a lot of quidditch. Gotta keep up my skills for the team.

I heard Hufflepuff is out for blood this year.

[Waver's not really the most interested in professional quidditch, but he knows how important it is to his students.]

Hufflepuff has no idea what they're getting into.

[ Because Hufflepuff might think they're out for blood, but seriously. Jason Todd. They don't know the meaning. ]
