CR/Plotting/Handwaving Meme~

Time for another of these! You all know what to do by now, and we all love some good CR, don't we? You can either ask for/offer CR you'd like to play out... Or you can discuss what may or may not already have happened!

INSTRUCTIONS

♥ Post with your characters, one per comment or a catch-all. If you have any CR in particular you'd like to rally, mention it here!
♣ Go around to other characters and discuss ways your characters may have interacted in handwaved settings. This could be casual meetings at the pub, patrols they may have gone on together, hikes and explorations, or just whatever strikes your fancy!
♦ Come up with some backstory for friendships that might not have gotten played out as fully as you'd have liked. These guys are trapped on a floating island together, 24/7... You know they bump into each other! New CR is highly encouraged - you never know what might happen.

CHARACTER(S): Cloud Strife and Celty Sturluson
CURRENTLY: Cloud is working to get his team back into shape and sparring with different people around town to try to get stronger.

Celty has been keeping up contact with people, but mostly she's just been doing her regular riding around town at night.

CR YOU'D LIKE: None in particular and more of everything. Both of my characters need to make more friends and branch out. I'd also love for Celty to get some negative CR with anyone who has a problem with monsters living among humans.

CR YOU WOULD NOT LIKE: Now why would there be something silly like that?

So is Cloud looking to try something yet or does he need more persuading?

I think I see a turn in Cloud's personality but he needs to build the right strength to face Sephiroth. I think he's been provoked well enough but right now I'm trying to deal with the level gap. There's no way he'd win.

Ah so really he's doing that part in the OGC when you know you should go to the Northern Cave but won't until you have Omnislash, Knights of the Round and all Master level Materia. I get it. Seph facepalms :p

Really though I need to make more of an effort to encounter Cloud, only problem is I can't seem to get my head around a situation where it wouldn't ignite a fight or a force-into-submission via cells.

He's happy with Cloud's unable-to-touch-him status so will be looking to undermine him/his close CR at any opportunity. Not sure if there is anything we can do with that.

Maybe not "ultima weapon + knights of the round" grinding, but Cloud needs to get his team back in order. And he needs....I dunno what, but he needs something if he's going to stand against him, yanno? I feel like he's close to something in at least one thread though.

She's chatting with 10 in another thread. Part of me would love to see Celty forced into becoming a Companion, but I dunno if RC is the right game for it. Memes may be fun though.

I'm busy this Saturday and away next weekend, but I'll try to have Rory's app submitted by the 8th anyway.

Oh, I don't see how RC would be wrong game for that, if I'm honest! I mean ... Aqua and Jane and Thorin are already pretty much companions as far as Eleven's concerned. =DD

Gosh, that'd be so nice. I am having issues not squeeing all day long here. I will have all them icons for all of Rory's eps ready by then. Then you got the whole pool to decide from.

But I think I'd love friendly aliens dragging Celty off on adventures while she's just stuck thinking "MY HAND! AN ALIEN IS TOUCHING MY HAND! LET GO LET GO LET GO!"

The dragging can be arranged even in Ruby though. They can go on a trip to ... somewhere outside the city together? xD

Suddenly I remember something about a camping trip that somehow also involved Ten having been planned by Tracy. So ... Rose should be involved in that, too.
Maybe we could make it a bigger thing with Eleven dragging everyone who couldn't get away fast enough along with them?
