That sounds like the dumbest premise for a video game ever. How would you even play that? Were you supposed to yell 'Objection!' into the microphone or something?

"And I'm pretty sure no one here's fictional. I mean, I've never met like Batman or the Steel Samurai here."

Hanna thought his 'live a little' comment was funnier.

"Hey, who knows! Maybe they live in a jungle? Or on the plains?" If there are plains around...but, still. "Can't you just think about it? I mean, it's a dragon! I mean, if Sephi-what's-his-face is here, what about Smaug? I mean, if you give him enough compliments we could probably run away."

Currently, she's yelling pretty fucking loudly at one of the 'employees' at the station... or, rather, someone who looked official that just passed by.] I bet you're all loli pedos looking to traffic me away! When my grandma comes here, I'm going to crush all of you like antsies with stones!

[Welp. The person she's yelling out doesn't look too comfortable. And then the waterworks start.] WAAAAAH! How dare you! WAAAAAAAAH!

"Well that's good. The unicorn would probably invite me right in. They like pure maidens, right? I'm halfway there." He grins back at her, though the little punch makes him stumble a little, into the shelf. He plays it cool though, leaning back against it.

Though her salute makes him snort, unsure if it's okay to laugh, but. He can't help it. It was a joke right? He can laugh at girls jokes. It's fiiiine, right?

Because okay, maybe that's more than a snort. "I think It's a little something not like that."

"Hanna, Smaug is about the last person-- thing?-- I want to be brought here. Don't even joke," he grumbles. "We already have Bowser."

[Kuzuryuu hears the yelling clear down the street and through the wall of his apartment. Granted, his apartment's not far from the train station so maybe it has more to do with proximity than shrillness, but. Y'know.

That screeching is way too fucking familiar to ignore, though. He throws on a coat, takes the stairs down carefully (depth perception is a bitch), and trots towards the source of the noise. He's Kuzuryuu Fuyuhiko. He's always looking for something dumb to do.

Not that he was expecting to actually stumble on someone he knows. Not after something like a month of false alarms.

Also, he really didn't think about how he'd approach this particular someone-he-knows. Also, shouldn't she be in a coma?

"Sorry if we can't all get the latest an' greatest. But you got it wrong babe, there's like a tonna those stupid lawyer games where I came from! Thas why I never played that shit though," Veser admits, waving his palm and almost smiling a smug little smile down his nose at the very concept, "Got about as much allure as some dumbass cooking game." She was easily getting back into his good graces, but this was still shifty as fuck. Video games, let's concentrate on that shit for a minute, yea?

"Hey if I saw 'em in a freakin' game, they're fictional to me," defensively says the teen, holding up his hands. "But you know Batman? Dunno your Steel Samurai, but I guess everyone knows that rich asshole, huh?" Calming down now, calming down. So it's not all bad. Cute AND nerdy. Nice!

As if the laughter is infectious, Maya bursts out laughing, too. "See?" she exclaims, trying to smirk and point, but still consumed by giggles. "You don't know it either. I could totally have been close!"

"Yes, Hanna, I know your giant villain man-crush is Bowser, I get it," grumbles the bat before looking rather pensive.

Wow. He... had kind of been there a while, hadn't he? "...End July of last year. I mean, it was July here. So... eight months?"

Yea she just confirmed he's probably gone totally nuts... or Hanna's got him high as a kite on some kind of weird rune. If he was on the couch right now, he sure as hell couldn't feel it. The fuck, man. Oh shit, she's talking.

"Maya who? Girl I told ya I don't touch those," but assistant? "So uh.. what kind of 'assistance' do you give?" That was a valid question. or whatever. Guess it's her turn to be confused.

"Yea, thas what I said! Maya, Maya. Yanno that's a cute name," for a cute hallucination, "I'm Veser." He points to himself proudly. He is in fact, Veser!

[Oh, good, she didn't try to bite him or anything. He comes forward to stand closer--but not too close, he knows he never made things right with her--and looks past her shoulder to see if anyone else is with her. He's disappointed not to see the rest of their class appear, and he crosses his arms.

Memory loss would explain why she seems so...well, normal.]

Yeah, I kind of thought that was what happened to me when I showed up, but either that's not the case or no one here gives a shit. And none of you guys were here for me to check with. What's the last thing you remember?

"Well, there is probably a book here. Or something. With a diagram." A pause. Conrad would probably know. He knows some weird shit.

"Directions maybe, but I don't think it's so important. The words are what matters, anyways. Not some silly salute."

Maya has to stop and stare again. This guy sure is a character-- and he's totally not paying attention.

She wants to have a freak out, because holy crap, being in a video game. But it looks like if she's going to get any information out of this guy-- and help him at all-- she's going to have to play along.

A coy look, and Maya does what her sister used to-- crosses her arms and rests a finger against the underside of her jaw.

"Veser, huh? That's not a bad name, either," she replies, "But I dunno. Is that really your name? You should tell me more!"

"But you're not a boyscout," Maya says, quite sure of herself. She taps a finger to her chin, trying to come up with a fitting comparison. "So if the words are what matters, why're you gonna say 'Scout's honor'? That's like me swearing testimony when I'm not even a witness."

"But, you figure everyone in the court room should swear right, I mean. You won't want anyone lying there. But I suppose, if you'd rather I could just cross my heart or something."

That gets another honest giggle out of her.

"You sure your heart isn't always crossed?" Because Maya'd be damned if that wasn't a killer pun. (A million times better than Luke Atmey, anyway.)

As he hugged her, she could hear her clothes go squish at the contact. But what got to her was that he had that look on his face like he hasn't seen her in months. But that was impossible because they had just seen him get on the train after all.

"Yu-kun...where are we?" she asked quietly, warming up slightly from the other's body heat.
