1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.

2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

[ He really doesn't have much time to do anything, since one minute, he's just standing there saying Amy's name, and the next, he's got his arms full of said person.

Not that he minds, because well, it's Amy, and that's all the reason he really needs.

Except, there's one thing about this that worries him, though he won't say that just yet. Hugs first, and then maybe explanations. ]

Amy, I- I'm glad to see you too. And, well, you don't know what's going on, do you?

[ Please say yes, because right now, he's a bit confused and things are simply not adding up as they should. ]

[ Once it's settled that it's him and they're both in one piece, Amy pulls back at arms length, doing a once over of their surroundings (again). ]

No, I thought that you might. This isn't New York and I thought it would be, isn't that how it works with those statues?

[ Because really, that's the last thing she remembers. Can remember the way the Doctor begged her not to, the sound of his voice, how River looked, and her own desperation to make sure that she could stay with Rory. ]

[ Well, the last thing he remembers is jumping off a roof with Amy, with the Doctor in the background screaming at them to stop. ]

Well, I thought so, but I've been looking around, and this is clearly not New York. I was about to try getting back on the train when you turned up.

[ Part of him wants to try, although really, what would they be going back to if they did? ]

[ She looks around them both, taking in the people -- those that were new arrivals, and others who looked comfortable in the area. Residents, probably.

Amy purses her lips, considering. ]

I don't know if we can.

But we should at least try, I think.

[ Only, what will they be going back to, if they do? At worst, they'll be dead, and at best, they'll be trapped in that different version of New York. Maybe staying here is the better option. ]
