1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.

2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

[It is only by chance that the Doctor has been seeking shelter inside of the very same building. He had been on of his rounds when the rain had started and had luckily been rather close to the clock tower's entrance, so instead of soaking wet he was only damp.

But still he is in the process of wringing out his purple coat a bit, when a young man dashes into the building, not noticing him as he sits on the stairs leading up to which are located on the far side of the entrance area. Only as the other man turns around - seemingly looking for something - does the Doctor notice who exactly just came in.

In a awkward looking tangle of limbs, he rises, drops his coat and rushes to Rory's side, throwing his arms around him instantly.]

Rory!

[ He's only just gotten his soaking wet coat off and is about to hang it on something to dry when the actual process of doing that is interrupted by a floppy-haired man who also happens to be wet.

Well, it's understandable, since it is raining, and rain usually falls on more than one person at a time. But Rory doesn't really have time to think, because suddenly, he's being pulled into a hug. It takes him a moment, but it's really difficult not to recognize the person doing the hugging. ]

Doctor? You're- What're you doing here?

[ Now, this really can't be New York, or at least, not the New York that he got pulled off to, because the Doctor has bigger and more important things to do besides be sent into the past by a pesky Weeping Angel. ]

[The Doctor is much too caught up with patting Rory's head and his cheeks, making sure that he really is here to register the questions thrown his way at first. But then he notices what Rory is wearing and he unmistakably can identify these exact clothes as they are the last thing he has ever seen the other man wear. So instead of answering the question he's been asked, he replies to some others, which seem to be just as important.]

This is not New York. You're in Ruby City. And no, I can't fly us out. And ... no, Amy is not here. Not yet.

[The truth is that he has been looking for her every day - for Amy and Rory. And he is overjoyed to have at least one back, but ... he's aware of how Rory won't see it that way.]

[ He just waits until the Doctor's patted his head and cheeks to his satisfaction, and then he takes a step back, clearly concerned because nothing that the Doctor just said is even close to good. ]

Right, Ruby City, and not New York.

[ He can take that much in stride, at least. ]

And we're trapped, and Amy isn't here. But do we really want her here?

[ New York might not be the ideal place, but at least it's somewhat safe. ]

[The Doctor casts his gaze downward, gathering his thoughts before he answers Rory. When he looks up there is a smile on his face. It may be faint but it's there.]

I ... Yes, I want you here. Both you and Amy. I have waited for you to show up. It's ... very selfish but ... this place may be my last chance of ever seeing you again, so I am willing to take it.

[He presses his lips together, waiting for Rory's reaction, sadness clinging to his eyes, along with a little bit of hope.

Then the moment is gone, as the Doctor basically forces himself to be excited again. About Rory being here. It's not too hard.

A grin appears on his face as he rubs his hands together, facing Rory, his eyes locked onto his.]
