2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

[River had been exploring the cathedral when the rain hit. It's surprising how soothing the sound of the rain hitting the glass panes was. But, that wasn't what drew her in here.

Or her attention to the front door when it opened to reveal someone she hasn't seen since... Manhattan. It felt like ages ago to her, and really it has been. Now to see exactly where in his timeline they were. If River was lucky, he would know her. If not? Ruby City was one hell of an evil bitch.]

[ It's funny how important getting off one's wet clothes, or at least one's wet jacket (because Rory's not in the habit of taking off his things in clock towers), can sometimes be. He's rather focused on his task just now, because nasty things can happen from wearing wet things for too long.

But he doesn't miss the sound of footsteps and then a very familiar voice speaking up. Momentarily forgetting about his coat, he turns around and stares, because well, he wasn't expecting to see anyone he knew or recognized, much less her. ]

River? What- I mean, I wasn't expecting to see you here.

[ Smooth recovery, Rory, really. ]

Really? Then who were you expecting?

[Yes, very smooth Dad. River just smiles as she waits for him to get over the shock of seeing her.]

Well, no one really, but I just meant, I thought you'd be with the Doctor, not here, wherever this is.

[ He's already starting to take this in stride, but it's all very weird. Very, very weird. ]

Who says that I'm not? I'm sure The Doctor is floating around the city somewhere.

[Yes, she's noticing exactly what Rory's wearing and remembering exactly when she saw them last. It could really only mean one thing for her... and boy did she have a lot to tell him.

But that could wait until later. Right now, River just wanted to make sure Rory was dealing with this okay.]

Unfortunately, Amy isn't here. But with the way this city seems to attract people, I'd say give it a little time.
