[ The kids persistent glaring doesn’t go unnoticed. At first he isn't quite sure that it is not just paranoia playing tricks on his head. After all, in this place he is mostly unknown, is far from being the most interesting resident, he has so far avoided ticking off anyone too badly (at least as far as he’s aware), and he sure as heck hasn’t seen the kid before, at least not in person (he’s seen him on the com’s a few times -he keeps track-).
So what other reason would there be for anyone to take that kind of interest in him?
Whatever the reason this definitely isn’t just paranoia. While trying to purposefully ignore the other boy, he could practically feel his glare drilling a hole in his head, and when he finally does give in to looking up at him again, he isn’t even trying to hide his glower.
What the hell is this kid’s problem?
Well, apparently he’s about to find out because suddenly the kid’s book claps shut and he’s marching right on over. ]
Oh, boy. Here we go.
[ He mutters to himself, as he prepares for what looks like either an argument or a stern talking to. In no time the kid has brought his glare up close, and golly doesn’t he look tiny standing at the bottom of the all those shelves. It’s almost cute. He’s a bit like an angry puppy. But boy there’s something oddly familiar about that glare, too, though he can’t quite put his finger on what.
And what is with the domino mask and civvies combo anyway?
At the question or rather the demand (he actually sounded offended that he didn't already know) to tell him who he was, he could only blink down at him for a moment, stunned in to a very brief silence. That was what this was about?
Smirking after a moment he let out a short snort of a snicker before replying.]
Hello to you, too.
[ Well if he’s that interested, he doesn't see why he should just give him the information that easily. Where's the fun in that? ]
You know, usually when someone wants to know who someone is, they say hi or somethin’, maybe introduce themselves, ask for a name. Not you though, huh? You just cut right through all that and get strait to the point, eh? That’s an interesting tactic you go there. Does that stalk and attack approach usually work out for you?
They’re going to be circling each other trying to outwit and out prodigy one another aren’t they
