There was a joke somewhere in there about husbands, but Tony was too busy trying sidestep the dog that came rushing at them. A pit. Great. Of course Steve would have a dog, it was literally the most American thing he could do. Tony just didn't expect a pit bull. "Jesus, Rogers put leash on that thing."

Yeah, he really wasn't a dog person.

And that was when it dawned on him that they had eventually gone through parts of the city, and he hardly noticed. There were cobblestone streets, and old buildings and...rain. Lots of rain. He really should have paid a lot more attention to his surroundings, especially now but... Whatever. Shit happens.

"I need to get dry first before I figure anything out." That was a polite way of asking to crash for the night... without the whole asking thing. He needed to get dry and figure out everything about the situation before he made any kind of decision. Can't solve a problem without all the variables. He wasn't here for the long term, but he was grounded until he got the suit up and running.

He gave it another look. There wasn't a whole lot of internal damage. Whatever effected it completely screwed up something internally and it had to do with the power source. He'd look it over in a bit when he wasn't sopping wet.
