CR/Plotting/Handwaving Meme

Time for another of these! You all know what to do by now, and we all love some good CR, don't we? You can either ask for/offer CR you'd like to play out... Or you can discuss what may or may not already have happened!

INSTRUCTIONS

♥ Post with your characters, one per comment or a catch-all. If you have any CR in particular you'd like to rally, mention it here!

♣ Go around to other characters and discuss ways your characters may have interacted in handwaved settings. This could be casual meetings at the pub, patrols they may have gone on together, hikes and explorations, or just whatever strikes your fancy!

♦ Come up with some backstory for friendships that might not have gotten played out as fully as you'd have liked. These guys are trapped on a floating island together, 24/7... You know they bump into each other! New CR is highly encouraged - you never know what might happen.

PLAYER: Miri
CHARACTER(S): Mr Gold {Rumpelstiltskin}
CURRENTLY: Gold is basically running his pawnshop, and can typically be found it in at any point after 9am til around 9pm most days/nights. Though if he doesn't believe he'll have company for the night after around 7/8pm he'll head upstairs to his apartment to read or spin. Days he decides to take off from running the shop can find him either around the town center, along the river / park, or in the forest. When he's out and about he will at times be accompanied by Gloria, the golden fire lizard that he's adopted.

If anyone wants to make a deal with him for p.much anything, feel free to contact him to set it up (there's even a handy deals page linked to on his profile if you'd like to hash out the details there), also he can be possibly persuaded to teach his kind of magic if you have something worth while to give him in return.

Edit: Cause I forgot earlier, but possibly around the 10th or so of this month, I will end up canon updating this man. He'll be going from end of S2 of OUaT to the end of the 8th episode of Season 3. Which basically means he'll be returning sans limp, sans shadow and wearing black leather head to toe. Sephiroth has nothing on wearing leather when it comes to Gold, let me tell you Just look at the man

CR YOU'D LIKE: The man is an opportunist. It doesn't matter if you're a good guy or a bad guy, if you've not gotten his anger directed at you, there is a very good chance the man will work with you should anyone want to work with him. That said, I am utterly up for positive, negative or even neutral CR with the man.

Warning though for negative CR, you'll be treading a fine line there, if you don't like him that is perfectly fine, the catch comes when he doesn't like you, watch you don't give him reason to go through with attempting to kill your character if only to make a point of how much he hates you. Because he will with no remorse if given reason to do so.

CR YOU WOULD NOT LIKE: Romantic/Shipping CR; The man is taken already, even if his 'True Love' isn't currently in the city. He'll have no interest at all anyone attempting to flirt with him or woo him. If anything anyone attempting to do so will net an eye roll from him and avoidance.

Wait til he ends up revealing his identity to her? BTW I AM A FAIRYTALE CHARACTER /lmao

Though I suspect he won't come right out with it, more like lead her into figuring it out herself and then applaud when/if she figures it out.

He's interested in how different forms of magic work, you never know when it might come in useful on down the line. How do you think he figured out eventually how to write that Dark Curse after all..

I would really like Yuna to run into him. I think it would be fun but I'm trying to think how their paths would cross >.<

Well, perhaps she sees something she might be interested in via the windows to his shop? I suspect he might be expanding his wares should anyone give ideas or should he see simple things (that he could create via conjuration) in books from the library that he thinks people might be interested in. And I now wonder if there is books on Blitzball in the library..

Failing that perhaps she could be interested in the fire lizard when he's out for a walk with her at some point?

All of those sound like great ideas. I haven't really explored what could be in the library but having a book about Blitzball would be awesome.

I'm thinking of having Sofia visit Gold's shop sometime this month, just to check it out. So yeah, heads up. She might make a deal with him, I haven't decided that yet though.
