[he hurries after her, not quite as fast, but at least fast enough to keep her in his sights.]

Think you'll be happy to know my Endurance is up to C now. Still got Shit Rank Luck, though. Also, Counter Guard sounds like a Super Smash Brothers move and also maybe like something you'd use to babyproof your house.

[He flicks a finger at her briefly and then twirls it towards the ceiling.]

[Much like an extension of himself, even though the blade is dormant, definitely nothing traditional about his swordplay. This teenager just seemed to do whatever came to mind at the time, and it worked well enough for him. It didn't take long to cut the Enigmas down, he just had to break through their defenses first.

A few scrapes and a lot of bullets later, they're all dealt with and Dante's spinning his sword while he idly scans for another ambush.

Content that it isn't coming he starts to back towards Alastor, still keeping an eye out for other threats instead of the demon he had been treating like a threat.]

*He shakes his head, also on the lookout for other threats. He even sniffs the air to see if he can smell something coming.*

[Actually, since she said most everyone in the city has been affected, Diarmuid will just assume that means her as well. Oops...]

It depends on how you define 'loss of powers.' As shown by that little fall and somewhat less than graceful recovery, my agility is not quite A+ at the moment. However, I blame that more on the fact that I don't know this body as well as I know my real one than I do on any power loss.

What about you? Have you or someone else noticed power loss? Is that why you ask?

[That dumb growly thing Kuzuryuu usually tries to do with his voice sounds even sillier from her current pipes as she turns her head to shout at Maya over her shoulder.]

[And then she turns just in time to run into a lamp-post on her blind side, which, you know, cuts her speed pretty significantly. She wobbles a couple steps and then sits on the ground, dazed. Good thing she totally inherited her dad's thick skull.]

*He's a winged lightning demon, of course he's better in the sky.*

[And, as if to prove to Damian he did just that, Diarmuid hops off the chimney and starts trying to climb Damian himself.]

[Namely because he is sure that Damian is rubbing it in their faces.]

[Oh dear god that was totally Maya's fault crap--]

[Rushing to her and kneeling Maya checks her over rather frantically. Oh god, oh god, she's not concussed or anyth-- nah, Phoenix totally got through a few hard hits to the head, Kuzuryuu will be fine-- ugh but he's a girl right now--]

A-are you okay? I'm so sorry!

[You say this like he's met much in the way of variety? That will change before long, of course, but for now he's fairly unversed in demons.]

[Just follow. Although once the buildings run out he's stuck to walking again. He could run, sure, but it's less fun without buildings.]

[Oddly enough there isn't a telephone box down this street, but there is a blue police box, and in front of said police box is very small boy in clothes that are much too big for him. Diarmuid is looking the box up and down as if he is trying to figure out a way inside. He is about to knock on one of the walls when he turns and notices Edgeworth approaching.

Diarmuid smiles and waves at the other boy before running up to him.]

Do you know how to get the fairy box open? I need to talk to them. My father is going to worry about me if I don't go home soon!

And really, he definitely knows better than to go after one of the most dangerous criminals this city has to offer him.

But Kuzuryuu has always been a damn fool, and he has to know: Who is this kid, and what can he do to talk him down from the path he himself had once been walking?]

[He looks up at the sky, squinting at the moon, then gives a shrug. He wouldn't know?]

Is it? Well, out in those bluffs I'd imagine there'd be something. Don't ask me what, I don't have any idea.

[But he's just going to sit here and wait for you to do whatever you're going to do, because he's got nothing better to do despite his lies earlier.]

[The first thing Mordred does with her new change (after the mandatory swearing and freaking out and realizing that being a man makes her feel dumb and heavy and weird) is to pay Damian a visit at the police station. A visit complete with flowers and candy, also featuring her riding in on an exhausted warg.]
