CR/Plotting/Handwaving Meme

Time for another of these! You all know what to do by now, and we all love some good CR, don't we? You can either ask for/offer CR you'd like to play out... Or you can discuss what may or may not already have happened!

INSTRUCTIONS

♥ Post with your characters, one per comment or a catch-all. If you have any CR in particular you'd like to rally, mention it here!

♣ Go around to other characters and discuss ways your characters may have interacted in handwaved settings. This could be casual meetings at the pub, patrols they may have gone on together, hikes and explorations, or just whatever strikes your fancy!

♦ Come up with some backstory for friendships that might not have gotten played out as fully as you'd have liked. These guys are trapped on a floating island together, 24/7... You know they bump into each other! New CR is highly encouraged - you never know what might happen.

CHARACTER: Roman Gulliver
CURRENTLY: Roman is brand spanking new! He's still settling into the city and learning the ropes! He's got a little apartment that he's furnished with stuff he's stolen out of other empty houses. He is very proud of his coffee table.

He can be found on the network or wandering around in the city at any time of day or night! His sleep schedule is pretty crazy since he isn't sure what to do with himself.

CR YOU'D LIKE: Roman is one of those demons that MAKE DEALS with people. If your character gives something up or agrees to do a certain thing, Roman can give them almost anything (that isn't game breaking). He's actively started asking around and looking for people who have deep desires though he hasn't revealed to anyone what he is.

I think it'd be fun for him to strike up a few small deals with people!

ANYTHING ELSE? He's ALSO looking for other folks his age to cause general mischief with.


CHARACTER: JW (James Walter the ugly antler guy)
CURRENTLY: James is currently RUNNING A BAKERY EVERYONE SHOULD COME GET CAKE. He's also actively trying to develop a good relationship with the faeries so that they don't bother him the next time they start pulling pranks.

CHARACTER: Maurice Hutch
CURRENTLY: Maurice doesn't really have a lot to keep him occupied. He tries to gather folks at the Black Stallion together and he plays his guitar around town but mostly he just gets drunk.

CR YOU'D LIKE: Somebody to get him off his ass and out doing things! Or to teach him a skill or something. :I MAURY PLEASE STOP WASTING YOUR UN-LIFE WATCHING MOTHS BOUNCE OFF THE STREET LAMPS.

I'd like to do more with Roman and Marlowe. I enjoy their CR so far. Haha, Marlowe's major character trait is "hidden passion", since he's secretly very emotional and idealistic and has ardent ideas about justice--I don't know how it would work out from a deal making standpoint, but he definitely does have deep desires and would do anything to achieve his goals at home.

Hellooo! I love them too! Roman is determined to see if he can get Marlowe to make some sort of face.

Maybe we can figure out something that Marlowe thinks will help him achieve his goals if you'd like him to make a deal! Such as being faster or stronger or never missing.

Haha, excellent! WELL, Marlowe is capable of expressions (mainly anger), so keep trying, Roman!

Oh, now that you mention it, Marlowe might want some kind of special ability, to put him on the same level as lawbreakers with special powers, so that he can better keep the peace. He's heard about superhumans like Sephiroth, and he can't allow them to terrorize the populace!

A terrible idea, but still, I can see him wanting it.

And oooh, granting super powers is something Roman could do, so long as the price was right. I'm sure we can find a way for it to come up eventually!

If JW wants any help, Orihime also loves to bake, and is pretty good at it! Maybe they can join forces. That said, I love his CR with Minako, it's adorable. SUCH GOOD FRANDS!

Speaking of Venus, maybe she could conspire with Roman to see if he's any good at removing curses, since she still thinks she's cursed to always put duty first and never find true love. (And she might be.)

I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE VENUS BACK you have no idea. Their friendship is precious.

JW's pretty territorial about his bakery but I bet he'd love to talk shop and swap recipes with Orihime!

And ooooh Roman might be able to do something with that! Maybe he could provide some kind of magic love magnet charm or something else that could cause a bunch of trouble!

She'd loooooooooove that. And if he wants a day off, she would gladly cover for him. (Also I'm totally stalking his bodyswap log with Twilight because it's making me laugh so hard.)
