CR/Plotting/Handwaving Meme

Time for another of these! You all know what to do by now, and we all love some good CR, don't we? You can either ask for/offer CR you'd like to play out... Or you can discuss what may or may not already have happened!

INSTRUCTIONS

♥ Post with your characters, one per comment or a catch-all. If you have any CR in particular you'd like to rally, mention it here!

♣ Go around to other characters and discuss ways your characters may have interacted in handwaved settings. This could be casual meetings at the pub, patrols they may have gone on together, hikes and explorations, or just whatever strikes your fancy!

♦ Come up with some backstory for friendships that might not have gotten played out as fully as you'd have liked. These guys are trapped on a floating island together, 24/7... You know they bump into each other! New CR is highly encouraged - you never know what might happen.

CHARACTER(S): Maya Fey, Virgil Hawkins, Conrad Achenleck, and Saber/Arturia Pendragon
CURRENTLY:

Arturia is forcing herself to learn about diplomacy and proper police habits, because she wants to make the police a more official 'thing' and get them on track to doing more to aid the city.

Conrad is sort of relearning the powers and shit he adjusted to in the city prior to his canon update. It's going a little more quickly than last time since he's done it before, but.

....also, Cap is trying to get him to go on a date with Seras. Don't ask Conrad about it or you might give him a coronary. (Or you would if he wasn't dead.)

Virgil is REALLY BORED. However he's also a superhero, and so he's worried about the heat. He's thinking about getting together with someone who can make fans and powering them for more heat-sensitive residents.

Maya is just being Maya. She's not currently investigating anything important, and is honestly just hanging around trying to strengthen her friend connections again. She's also made things a little easier with Mia, so she's in much brighter spirits.

If Saber wants to learn more about police procedure, Marlowe has all kinds of ideas for proper police procedure, which basically involves acting nothing at all like the military police which he is a part of at home.

He will talk about these ideas at length, unsurprisingly.

Well, it could be possible that she doesn't recognize him at first, since he's 25 and not distorted or magical. Apparently, according to canon, he was handsome before being transfigured by madness! Also, he is calling himself Jean de Bretagne, because he is a total idiot. Moo and I are having Waver not recognize him as Otoko Gilles.

Ahahahahaha he'd do his best to help. Maybe help her set up certain sections of the police so they have some sort of proper fair law enforcement here. Whether it's helping her recruit good police, setting up some fair rules or making up some fair trial system.

Thankfully there's not too much of a difference! Same hair, same red bow. She hasn't popped up in Crystal yet beyond being mentioned in the paper, so I can't say if she's as meddlesome and unhelpful as she is in the old anime/original manga. But yay! She'll be flattered to think she actually has fans here.

we can fudge it well enough-- I'm sure they wouldn't make her too unlike herself. Besides, it looks like they're sticking close to the manga, and Maya's got art that shows she's into comics too.
