"Care to tell me more about what's going on here and why I ended up on a train station with no memory of getting on a train?" she asked, glancing over at the very familiar hunter that sat down next to her. She took a drink of the beer. It was decent, but she's had better.

"I don't like being left in the dark, Dante," she said. She didn't have to. He should know that about her. She had no problems leaving others in the dark about certain things, but that was beside the point.

She might know ab it more if she had only stopped to look at a few things in the train station before bolting out and into the city, but that could be discussed later.

While he didn't exactly display age changes well, he did look different. Maybe it was in the way he held himself, or perhaps the change in coat style. He'd been through a few of them by now. Or maybe it was that whne he ordered "the usual" that turned out to be... juice? Of all things?

"Sorry to disappoint you, Lady, but there's a lot of that going around these days. You want the long version or the short version? Doesn't matter to me, we've got all the time in the world."

Just like Dante to completely lack any sense of urgency. There were informational signs, Lady. Sometimes it helps to stop and smell the roses.

You'll have to forgive her, Dante, for not noticing the changes sooner. Finding yourself in a strange city in the middle of a thunderstorm was rather rattling, even if she didn't show it. She finally turns to look at him. Really look at him.

"If we've got all the time in the world, then go ahead and give me the long version, but first, you've changed. It's only been a couple of weeks since I last saw you, but it looks like you're at least a few years older," she said. "Nice coat."

She knew it couldn't have been that long since she saw him. After all, he still owed her a lot, or did he? She wasn't so sure anymore. At least, not here with this Dante.

He knows it's pretty disorienting when you first arrive, so he'll cut her some slack. There's a lot to worry about and the length of your friend's hair is pretty low on the priorities list.

"You like it?" He tugged idly at the collar, fixing it. "Someone made it for me. And it hasn't been quite that long, year and a half, little longer? I heard rumors time stops for you back home." But putting all your stock in rumors is never a wise decision. Still, he was glad to hear they were at least partially true. If he did ever make it back, he'd not miss much.

Pff like he'll ever be out of debt with her.

Lady never trusted rumors. Doing that usually got you killed and she liked living a bit too much. She thought for a moment about what he said. Time stopping for you back home? That was rather interesting, but was that really true or did time simply just slow down?

"A year can be a long time and really change a person," she said. A lot of things could happen in a year and a half and she didn't know anything about this city. She sat quietly, thinking about what he said for a moment before looking back at him.

"What kinds of things happen in this city?" She asked. Might as well get some information about where she was. She might even be able to relax after a little while. That was a bit of a stretch though, she hardly relaxed even after a job was done.

Rumors had their place, they were a lot of how Dante picked up his work after all. But taking rumors on face value was dangerous, and stupid. Always dig deeper. Who knew, all he had were rumors and speculations, and you can bet he was infinitely frustrated over it.

"You're telling me," Sip. After all, just how much had the both of them changed over the course of one night in Temen-ni-gru? Events were more important than length of time in their lives.

"Heh you're in for a treat, Lady. You won't have any problems with the monsters that sneak in, but I'll tell you now mind who you're shooting at. Got a lot of people around here who aren't exactly human, but they're not what you need to worry about. The city itself likes to play little pranks on us every now and then. Mind altering flowers and fogs, had ourselves a nice little end of the world scenario at one point? Real cliche, straight out of a horror novel."

Only Dante could be completely casual discussing this.
