I'm a one-trick pony, so come at me with Elena and her thoughts on stuff. And things.

Oh man, since the nightmares happened, what does she think of Zack?

Having little to go off on when it came to Zack, Elena wasn't sure what she was getting in to. She had not been given time - or access - to his file beyond some basic notes and, well, Tseng was not one to talk about the SOLIDER or all the incidents that led up to his death.

All in all, Elena isn't surprised that Zack had made it to First Class. He embodies what had made up several of the other Firsts and is clearly what ShinRa would have called a potential "hero" in the making. His positive spin on just shy everything - even the shittiest of situations - makes him a breath of fresh air for her, considering how long she's been wallowing in negativity and depression.

Since the nightmares, Elena has a new-found and very strong feeling of respect for Zack. Not that it wasn't there before, but this respect lies deeper in her heart. She knows for a greater certainty that his strength isn't his greatest asset - its his heart. And the very fact that, even in a nightmare filled with pain and dis-figuration, he had still wanted to protect her? Well, that earned a lot of brownie points. Its not often you find somebody who is willing to protect a Turk, especially those who have been burned by them.

Despite the fact that he is "technically" her elder, Elena sees herself as something of an older sister to Zack. ~~Lets not mention the fact that at a sub-cellular level they are thanks to the mnemonic legacy of the space bitch.~~ She honestly cares for the man's safety and well being - both physically and mentally.

Elena for Edward, then!

To say that Edward has piqued Elena's interest would be quite the understatement. It has been some time since she's come across somebody who exhibited levels of professionalism and investigative curiosity that would mirror her own. And to be so proactive about it - his learning of her before their first encounter - really stuck out for her.

There has been very few individuals that have actually made it a point to learn the names of the tenured. And she suspects that had they not met in the dark police station, they would have crossed paths at some point or another.

Considering how similar their professional backgrounds are - if you disregarded the whole kidnapping, murder, espionage, and other black ops missions - Elena finds Edward to be a potential asset in her plans to restart an investigation on their hosts and the city itself.

Though...she wouldn't mind it if he lost the leather gloves. She and leather go way back and is the only negative aspect to the man's wardrobe so far.

What do you think of Yuna? She is alittle less scared of Elena finally. It just took a depressing dream!

Despite wandering into Yuna's dream and subsequently punching her then groom in the face, Elena's perception of Yuna remains mostly unchanged. For Elena, Yuna is a young, impressionable woman who is kind to a fault. Her desires to assist others in their time of need is so overwhelming that Elena could find it a touch stifling to endure. This is, of course, natural and easy to understand once you took into mind that Elena has lived the majority of her time in the city by herself - having a couple of stints living with one or multiple people before they returned to their home worlds.

What has changed Elena's view on Yuna is the extent that she would go to assist or protect her friends. Its admirable, but fool-hearty and Elena is concerned just how often she will hear of Yuna going off to either defend somebody's honor - ~~Or is that Zack?~~ - or get revenge for a wrong made on them. And considering what Yuna saw in Elena's dream, she's even more concerned.

Elena is also now morbidly curious about this wedding she came across and the man waiting for Yuna at the alter.
