America absolutely loves her, to be quite honest! She's pretty much perfect as a family member. Firstly as a kid, she appeals to him because he's like a child at heart, and he can just BE A KID around her. He's not embarrassed to do things with her that she wants to do, even if it's something like a tea party. He's down for whatever because he's that chill. On the other hand, Alice calling him "Uncle" is really endearing to him and makes him feel like an adult in a way that like...he just usually doesn't feel. It's a good sense of responsibility.

Also, he appreciates the fact that she's intuitive enough to pick up on when he's down, and asks if he wants to do a thing like--most recently as an example, make sammies and chill out. It reminds him a lot of England, and it's comforting. But in a cute, this-little-girl-is-my-family-way. Which is a big deal because nations don't have real families. She is family to him after this long.

Of all the kids living in the house, by far, he cares for Alice the most, and that's not just because she's been there the longest.

Seriously though. While Yami Bakura doesn't necessarily hate him as much as the next person he deals with, he doesn't exactly like him because he's the only one who knows that Yami Bakura is in fact a spirit of darkness, and not the actual teenager whose body he's controlling. And he's sure Dante would step on his fun if he tried to have any.

That said, he can actually have a conversation with Dante and doesn't care whether the guy trusts him, and nor does he need to trust Dante implicitly to feel like he can count on him. Because he's basically holding Ryou hostage. =P It makes Yami-dude feel like he's in control. Whether he's actually in control is the question but w/e, help him get wisps, Dante.
