Ed: Man, Ed's definitely got the art of handling Fuyuhiko down. Not only is Ed a capable business partner and a sharp, reliable investigator into what's going on in the city, but he always goes out of his way to acknowledge where the kid's coming from, and Fuyuhiko appreciates that (even if it's likely a way to show off on Ed's part). He likes to feel like he's being respected, and Ed's good at that. It's a comfortable, casual friendship that isn't fraught with emotional pitfalls like a lot of his other CR is, and that's refreshing.
Jack: It's a HUGE deal that after the dreamwalking event, when Fuyuhiko was so shaken from what he did in his nightmares, he admitted vulnerability and went to Jack. That's not just a display of the trust Fuyuhiko has in the man and his ideals; against both his determination not to rely on people and his certainty that he doesn't deserve to, he admitted he wanted to feel safe and allowed himself to be. That takes a special kind of patience and understanding that Fuyuhiko's never come across before. He's still tentative, but he's opening up.
If Jack asked, Fuyuhiko would just straight-up tell him everything that happened on the murder island high school field trip and before, without leaving stuff out or making himself sound bigger and badder.

Hiroshi confuses him, though. Kuzuryuu's used to dealing with criminals and hitmen and people who ACTUALLY deserve to feel guilty about what they have done, but who generally, you know, don't really own up to that. So seeing the guy so beat up over something that wasn't even his fault is weird as all get out. He thinks Hiroshi's kind of broken.
Since the first time they met in person, he was in a position of taking care of Hiroshi, Kuzuryuu feels illogically responsible for him (he has Leader Problems). While he wouldn't expect Hiroshi to ever want to see him again after the dreamwalking and is actually resigned right now to the idea that everyone SANE is gonna abandon him, he still wants to help the guy out, if he has a chance.
