So what do Ed and Jack think of this loser criminal

Edward sees a kid who is also a very useful tool. He's not interested in protege, though, so Fuyuhiko is safe from meddling too deep in his life (though he is siccing Stephanie on Fuyuhiko and his friend to help get them some life skills and maybe learn to cook, also so that Stephanie can have some friends her age, because he's a manipulative twat that way) he's definitely got 'potentially useful pawn' written all over him. Also 'seems like a nice kid' so he won't use him badly. Which is about as nice as Edward gets about anybody.

Jack, on the other hand, has pretty much adopted Fuyuhiko. He likes the kid. Thinks he had a raw deal. Thinks he's smart and clever and has a good heart but no faith in himself. He wants to see Fuyuhiko grow into a good man and use all that good stuff in him for all the right reasons. His feelings are intensely parental and if anyone hurt Fuyuhiko in a way the kid couldn't eventually handle (with some help, if necessary) Jack would probably fall on them like the fist of god.

I DON'T KNOW but both are Dadding so hard at Fuyuhiko right now. Just in entirely different ways.
