Given recent developments, she feels more than a little awkward around James. It's weird finding out that someone you "can't stand" is in actuality your soul mate, and even though she was previously getting around to the concept, she was still a ways away from admitting that to herself. There's now a sense of obligation there, especially considering they know they have a son, which I think makes them want to conform and run for the hills all at the same time.

So all things considered, she's at the very beginning of "well maybe if he literally died for me and our future baby he's not a COMPLETE douche" which is...good. For her. Baby steps.
