But really Dante doesn't actually have any malice for her, even finds her kind of amusing. All in all he actually was trying to help just in his... way. Which tends to not be especially helpful due to a nasty habit of never giving full information and also being a gigantic troll. He likes people to work for what they gain, you know how it goes. In his opinion Lily really needs to learn to not get so upset over things that she has no control over, it's just going to give her a heart condition and not get her anywhere.

As for the rest of it, well, learning to go with the flow would probably benefit her as well. Poor kid, you'll learn someday.

OKAY LET'S GO. So Yami is super suspicious, like the most suspicious douche to ever act suspicious. Not even to mention the whole possessing a pretty wussy teenager, because really that's kind of a jerk thing to do buddy. But okay, despite the obvious huge red flags of dark spirit inhabiting someone else's body he really doesn't think Yami is necessarily a threat. A potential pain in the ass, maybe, but possibly not outright evil.

In other words, he's keeping an eye on you spooky.

Honestly he kind of needs to talk to the kid about it and see his take on the whole thing, because overall he doesn't seem overly bothered or concerned that he's playing host to a potentially nasty dude? And that's just confusing and concerning.

Yuna is a cutie that is all.

No but really, her conviction and sense of duty are somewhat of a surprise, and definitely something to be admired. As young as she is it's impressive to see a person so willing to sacrifice themselves to preserve everything else. Dante always did have a soft spot for a self-sacrifice story, so of course he was going to end up helping her out.

Even though they ultimately failed in eliminating Sephiroth, he's not ashamed of trying for her, and he'll probably be willing to help her out in the future. So long as it's a good cause of course, but somehow he doubts that Yuna would come to him with anything but a good cause. She's a good kid, has a lot of potential, never lose that spark. That's the spark of a true and noble soul.
