[November] CR/Plotting/Handwaving Meme

Time for another of these! You all know what to do by now, and we all love some good CR, don't we? You can either ask for/offer CR you'd like to play out... Or you can discuss what may or may not already have happened!

INSTRUCTIONS

♥ Post with your characters, one per comment or a catch-all. If you have any CR in particular you'd like to rally, mention it here!

♣ Go around to other characters and discuss ways your characters may have interacted in handwaved settings. This could be casual meetings at the pub, patrols they may have gone on together, hikes and explorations, or just whatever strikes your fancy!

♦ Come up with some backstory for friendships that might not have gotten played out as fully as you'd have liked. These guys are trapped on a floating island together, 24/7... You know they bump into each other! New CR is highly encouraged - you never know what might happen.

CHARACTER(S): Orihime Inoue
CURRENTLY: Off-screen, Orihime's likely been busy baking, trying out new recipes with occasional research trips to the library, and sewing warm clothes for the upcoming winter. I also imagine she's been exploring the area more frequently, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends.
CR YOU'D LIKE: I'd love more positive CR with her, friends she can depend on and talk to and/or support. She's an odd duck, but affectionate and smarter than she looks. Alternatively, I'm craving some adventures with her, whether it be dealing with monsters and danger or even coping with the occasional villain.
CR YOU WOULD NOT LIKE: I can't think of anything beyond, like, graphic torture and stuff like that. Please no. :C
ANYTHING ELSE? BABY YOU'RE A FIIIIIIIIIREWOOOOOOOOOORK! She totally wants to light some fireworks.

CHARACTER(S): Minako Aino
CURRENTLY: She's actually pretty bored off-screen. Sometimes she goes shopping just for the sake of having something to do. Other times she's in her office, staring steadfastly at her watch waiting for a client to ask her for help. It's not going well, ho ho ho!
CR YOU'D LIKE: More clients for her business, willing or not! Failed shenanigans! Good, friendly CR! Hero worship for Sailor Venus that doesn't translate to Minako's true identity!
CR YOU WOULD NOT LIKE: Please don't discover Venus's identity without clearing it with me first. I'll probably say no unless the CR with her is very extensive and leads to something meaningful.
ANYTHING ELSE? We need a beauty spa. She would love to be spoiled at a spa.

Will he treat her nicer, even if he doesn't know she's Sailor Venus? Or did you want Minako to try to beat off Adachi without the use of her powers?

Up to you with the latter. I was going to plan for a gradual softening of CR with idk them finding out positive stuff about each other or something. Not necessarily Edgeworth finding out about her identity as Sailor Venus but...MAKE THEIR CR A LITTLE LESS NEGATIVE SOMEHOW.

That would be great! My endgame was always for her to see him as a sort of grumpy uncle or something. Unless he's actually much younger than she thinks. She assumes he's old because of his gray hair.

Lol he's 27. He acts like he's 57 though so it's understandable.

That's okay, it registers as about the same age in her immature eyes. :D ...Although the anime does seem to feature a lot of middle school girls falling for guys in their 20's, I just can't make myself do it. Not unless it's meant to end in disaster and has no shipping possibilities whatsoever.

All of JW and Minako's threads are adorable and funny. I think he could use some cheering up after getting his ass kicked by magic and he doesn't know anyone else who's more cheerful!

Yes, this is good! They can cheer each other up, since she's all sulking and mad that almost no one came over to celebrate her birthday with her. Bring cake and she'll forgive you.

Once I get a better idea of how busted up he'll be, he'll put out a call for help in the bakery. He could contact her about it then and offer use of his shiny bakery!

She would totally help! Or heal his hands. That could lead to them doing some joint baking in the future, which would be awesome.

XD He's pretty freaked out by magic right now, so he'd have to turn down any healing. But her giving him a hand (I'm hilarious) would probably build up enough trust for baking collabs! HIS BAKERY IS HIS BABY but she's so nice and I think that could get him to stop being so territorial.

True, Orihime is a super nice gal. And they can always diversify! She's mostly interested in cakes, but she could expand her repertoire to include donuts and breads. Plus two people to clean up! :D
