Locations

1.TRAIN STATION - The place where everyone gets dumped off at. Your first view of Ruby City, complete with informational posters telling you all about where you've ended up.
2. THE BEACH - Lovely year-round, though in the winter months, you're probably not likely to dip your toes in.
3. THE BLACK STALLION - A rather quaint bar. Supposedly, the burgers are great, but you don't see anyone immediately who's willing to serve you. Maybe you're meant to get it yourself.
4. THE OBELISK - The tall monolith in the center of the city marks the gathering place of many events, though right now it seems to be cold and dark.
5. THE CLOCKTOWER - Offering an impressive view of the city, several residents come here to clear their heads, if they don't mind braving the narrow staircase.
6. THE COFFEE JOINT - the front windows are warm and welcoming, and it seems there's always someone friendly enough to fix you a cup when you wander through.
7. THE CATACOMBS - Intrepid, aren't you? Those weird holes may beg exploring, but go too deep and you're going to be in a lot of trouble, considering the viciousness of the creatures held within.
8. THE CITY STREETS - All told, Ruby City is a lovely place, once you get past the fact that several of the buildings look derelict and on the verge of falling down. There's no harm in doing a little sightseeing.
9. THE PARK - You thought it'd be a lovely stroll, but the park is anything but friendly, if those approaching wolf-like creatures are any indication.
10. CHOOSE YOUR OWN - Don't like what we've come up with? Feel like picking your own place? There's a whole host of lovely locations to choose from in the City.

Scenarios

1. NEW ARRIVAL - Step off that train, walk down the street. People usually latch on to newcomers to try and help them out. Even if you look shy, the other residents probably won't be!
2. WATCH TALK - Feeling lost? Disoriented? Don't worry, everyone feels that way on their first day. Fortunately - if the signs at the station are to believed - the watch in your pocket can be used to talk to whoever else might be here.
3. BAD WEATHER - Aw, man. Whether it's snow, or rain, or just plain cold, today was definitely the wrong day to get dumped off in a City in the middle of nowhere.
4. A RUN-IN - Maybe you weren't watching. Maybe they weren't. Either way, you just bumped into someone. Perhaps apologies are in order?
5. HELP, IT HURTS - Clumsy, aren't you? Perhaps wherever the train brought you from wasn't so friendly, or you just tripped and twisted your ankle. Either way, you're in a bit of pain. Hopefully someone will notice your booboos and help patch you up.
6. HUNGRY - It isn't very obvious sometimes that restaurants are what they are, especially in a place like Ruby City. Where can a person go to get a bite to eat around here?
7. MISTAKEN IDENTITY - Hey, there's someone you know! --Or maybe not.
8. BEING FOLLOWED - Maybe you're just being paranoid, or maybe you've got a reason to be afraid. Whatever it is, it feels like there's eyes on you...
9. CURRENT EVENTS - None at the moment, but feel free to look through our event tag!

Nadeshiko and Tamri had been exploring, looking back around the train that had let them off in this odd place. They was searching for any sign of Their friends, of the other Gaurdians, even another Chara.

What They found, instead, was... not what they was expecting. Not in the least. Nadeshiko hesitated, looking at the other. While Tamari was a hand-span high, dressed in a pretty kimono and invisible, Nadeshiko looked like a very pretty 13 year old girl. Long purple hair was swept up into a ponytail adorned by a ribbon that ended in small flowers. Nadeshiko's eyes were warm, and even startled, there was a smile on that young face.

Nadeshiko was wearing the female school uniform for her academy, with the red plaid skirt, black blazer, crisp white shirt, and red tie. The top was hard to see, however, because as usual, Nadeshiko was wearing the red guardian cape, a full around red plaid caplet that didn't quite go to the waist and closed in the front.

The tall boots that laced to the knees were not part of the uniform, but they were very stylish and very Naedshiko. The child smiled warmly, greeting the odd stranger, after the initial moment of shock. "Hello!" as delicate and graceful as Nadeshiko looked, the voice suited perfectly, gentle and light.

It just goes to show just how jarring the transition was that Blackarachnia didn't notice the smaller humanoid until she spoke. The she-spider stood much taller, somewhere around six or seven feet, nearly towering over the girl with black and gold armor and a very, very obvious spider motif with legs coming off her forearms and large claws. This bot was very obvious not human, or organic for that matter. Not right now anyway.

Her black optics narrow slightly as she regards... a human? Scrap, when was she now? The last time she checked, the apes were still picking fleas off each other. Right away she could write off the time period of the last mudball of a planet she was in.

So, where was she then? It should have been impossible to snatch her and not the others on the Axalon... unless this was the Vox's doing. She really hoped that was the case.

"Looks like I'm not the only unlucky one. Where did they take you from?"

"I would say Japan, but somehow I don't think that would help very much," Naedshkio said with a warm smile. "Earth? Does that help?"

Nadeshiko had one foot behind the other, slightly lifted, hands linked behind, as though there were a wall to lean back against. The smile seemed to only get sweeter, if anything.

"I am looking for the rest of my friends, but I am always willing to make new ones," Nadeshiko said warmly.

Strangely enough, that DID help. So the pipsqueak was from Earth. Since when did the organics have that kind of hair color? Whatever, it doesn't matter. "Yeah, it does unfortunately."

If the girl was looking for a 'friend', she was climbing up the wrong tree. Of course, this also meant she wasn't the only bot being abducted. Just slagging wonderful.

"Yeah well look somewhere else. This widow doesn't need to have another furball falling her around."

An eyebrow lifted slightly, taking the corners of lips with it. "Furball?" Nadeshiko asked with a small giggle.

Then the golden brown eyes flicked to one side of the bot's head. The giggle got a bit stronger, and hands went over that smile, as if trying to hide it, trying to muffle the sound. It... was not a successful attempt. The child was very clearly mirthful about something.

"Yeah you. Got a problem with that?"

Her optics narrow as she rests her claws on her hips. The thin legs attached to her arms twitched in annoyance as she shot the brat a glare. Just what was up with this kid? If she weren't an organic, Blackarachnia would be tempted to shoot her. But somehow she doubted something like that would fly around here. Organics were just too...squishy.

Nadeshiko's head shook, both in negation and in laughter. "Just amusing. I've never been called a furball before." Another small giggle sounded.

"I'm Nadeshiko Fujisaki."

"Well that's what you are. Some sort of ape descendant organic. Slag, you may have a lot less body hair than your ancestors, but you still have a lot of it." She grumbles softly at the sound of another small giggle and looks away to glance at the posters again.

"Whatever. I'm called Blackarachnia."

"A pleasure to meet you, Blackarachnia," she said with a warm smile. She gave a curtsy.
