Sparring Event
Hi everyone!
A little while back I was chatting with some others in the game on plurk, and we realized there were a lot of characters who would love a chance to spar against others on their own power level. There just hadn't been a chance really to get them involved in something like that.
Enter the Spiral Sparring Event! During the Harvest Festival, Diarmuid is opening the school to everyone and encouraging those who would like a chance to challenge others to come to the school and do just that. The only rules are that people shouldn't try to really hurt anyone else. These are friendly spars, not places to settle feuds or arguments. Anyone causing trouble or found to seriously be trying to hurt another will find themselves very quickly evicted.
Diarmuid will be announcing this event through a sign at the booth he reserved for the festival. If your character might need to see a Network announcement to get there, feel free to handwave one was done. Also, feel free to handwave that Diarmuid personally invited your character if you are someone he knows well. Hearing via word of mouth is also completely acceptable.
The actual log is here and has sections for both sparring and just mingling if your character would rather just come to watch or chat.
