PARK

[For fuck's sake, he's told her and told her and told her to be careful in this damn city. He's told her about the dangers. They live right next to the park, she's supposed to fucking know not to go in there, there's fucked-up shit in there and her Stand is useless and he's been trying his absolute damnedest to be reasonable about not being overbearing as hell about the things she does in this city, even with Dio and the dangers and all of his bad memories of her fifty-day illness —

But that all goes out the window when he spots her ambling around the park like an absolute tourist, like there's no danger whatsoever except that she sticks out like a blonde sore thumb (and what the hell is she wearing, anyway?) and wouldn't you know it, he's not the only one that's spotted her wandering.

She may not know what that dog-like thing is, but he certainly does. He's fought off enough of them, trying to teach them to keep a wide berth from their house and the extent of its property.

And evidently he's going to be fighting one again, as a dull panic starts buzzing underneath his skin and the hairs on the back of his neck begin to stand up, and in a heartbeat Star Platinum manifests in his legs to give him the burst of inhuman speed he needs to put himself between her and the park monster before it has the opportunity to coil and spring into a leap.]

Mom!

[And that's how, from Erina's point of view, an oddly-dressed young man about the same age, height, and build as her Jonathan comes lunging into view, just in time to rock back and throw a devastating punch right into the snout of a park monster leaping through the air towards her.]
