Canon Update
Maedhros has disappeared from the city as of now and will be back in 7 days, so January 17th. He'll be coming back from seconds before he melts in the lava he threw himself into.
HOWEVER he'll find he has his right hand back whenever he notices more than just he's not burning to death. {Thank you Chari!}
I don't expect to be around much until then but will hit backtags as they come.
