So, Julian will be looking like Iron John in this time period[i.e. extremely hairy with tough-as-iron skin] – if anyone sees him, that is. Sure it's beneficial to combat, but he'd likely be mistaken for a Sasquatch or something similar. Mentally, it wouldn't be too much of a change for him, so he wouldn't think much of his personality changing slightly because of it.
